So apparently not only do we have the 6 frames of inherent input lag…the input lag has a random 2 frame variance, so the input lag can be 5, 6, or 7 frames at any given moment on PS4
And SFV is the only fighter out right now that suffers from this and it’s apparently been there since launch
Since I’ve been playing more on PC until just yesterday, I like that the game doesn’t freeze up in training mode when fight request is on. PS4 has been PS4 so nothing new. Least they fixed up the loading times a bit.

Definitely starting to get around well with Cody. Big buttons and fireball is pretty much right up Momochi’s alley. Gets some scum in VT2 but generally he opens you up by just landing a big hit. Cody isn’t super cross up/left right/command grab heavy before then which fits Momo’s more grounded approach. Good whiff punishes with Cody s.LK and solid spacing on the s.HK to minimize punishes/turn changes. Lots of V Skill and even does V Skill on people’s wake up. I’m pretty V Skill happy too just because it blows up so much shit in neutral and the throw/attack invince properties with the range settles a lot of shimmy and block pressure down.
Vs Dogura was really fun. Both Cody and Urien kinda harness the power to control a lot of screen space while having scary heavy buttons and triggers, so they relate in that sense. Momochi did great job waiting out block stun on Aegis and then jumping out and made sure to V Reversal blocked button to Aegis VTC. Kolin doesn’t do bad vs Abigail, but Cody clearly does better and probably should have just went straight to Cody for Abi. Used j.HP to preemptively whiff punish whiffed buttons from Abi and Cody only needs one jump in to start the party (jumping is generally best way to “whiff” punish Abi). After that though got blown up by Bipson, but its Bipson and once he gets going, he gets going.
Overall good stuff and looking forward to more. Cody gives me another long ranged character to use to go with Falke. Not quite as good at far range and can’t EX reversal like Falke, but trades that for better pressure/damage/oki
This is huge news to have confirmed think we have all had the " I thought I blocked that" moment or an anti air that just didn’t work for some reason.
Capcom should focus on stabilizing the game to 5F and upping speed of some moves in season 4 instead of whoring out costumes. This is a joke for a “competitive” game playing as if the netcode and balance weren’t bad enough.
I will be done with this game when Smash Ultimate comes out unless Capcom addresses the stablity issues.
As I said earlier on twitter, we should dress up all the characters in Street Fighter V in a green leotard so Capcom won’t know which is the real Cammy and they would buff everyone just to be safe.
This is absurd and ridiculous.
And it is happening on a timer, so it is very likely intentional.
If this is a bug, it shouldn’t have survived 2 code revisions, let alone 2 full years of the game being out.
