These “what’s up with Trife” posts are gold.
Just made a R. Mika player ragequit, and he tried to hide his ragequit by doing her charged HK ahahahaahaha
Hehe, I’m coolin’ my rank up was against a regular Birdie player. I used Falke and was a lil worried because playing outside of his peak range is still scary especially when I’m trying to play footsies while dropping or starting a charge. Still don’t care about rank though
Back to BL while I listen to this new Westside Gunn
the courtroom is silent, some stirring can be heard from the back of the room
The Mayor takes a deep breath and stands, the room anxiously awaiting his retort
Fellow citizens, is a man not entitled to his right to react? Is a man no more than the reflexes in which he possesses? Is it right of us, to base our judgements of what is and isn’t reactable from an individual basis?
I’m here to make one statement and make it clear - it isn’t a case of if you can, it’s a case of you will! Everyone gathered here today in this room has the potential to stop Alex’s from dashing at them with no cares in the world, you have to want to grasp at that future with all of your might! All of your dreams can be achieved, you just have to believe, and believe in my faith to restore this city.
Now I can make baseless accusations like the defendant here, but would it be right of me to dash the peoples hopes of stopping Alex’s ungaunga? I sense great resentment in the man sitting across from me, and as a man of office it is my duty to create a place of living in which no-one feels dejected in the ways he does.
Thank you for allowing me to speak of how I truly feel, judge and jury.
Sips water and fastens and brushes off tie
Thank you all, you’re too kind.
My 9 year old cousin is watching me play AE and I drop banana peel.
Cousin: why did he drop a banana peel???
Me: it helps slow the opponent down
Cousin: this isn’t Mario Kart!!!
Well played.
i play birdie sometimes and he really is like a wall. he controls neutral better than most characters its wild and on top of that hes one of the few characters in the game with a very strong v-skills like his Can is MAD Good and his banana literally shuts down grapplers but does Okay against rush down characters. i use to main him but sometimes i get bored of how easy you can win matches im not trying to brag but if you know your frame data you’ll destroy lots of players online who underestimate birdie. you also do a shit ton of damage so shoto players will actually stop playing braindead with the mashing (ken)
I finally got to Super Plat with Falke on my smurf PC account so I’m making small progresses myself. Had to blacklist a few laggy mexicans cuz somehow they seep into the 5 bar connections, but yeah. Fought the most honest Ibuki in the world that didn’t use any of her cheap stuff except air EX kunai and only used like one of her normals. Not to mention threw all of his kunais away like he was playing Guile. Took out some Zekus and can actually win matches vs Bipson even though Bipson is annoying as fuck for Falke.
Think biggest thing I learned to get me up quickly (other than funneling out people with bad connects) is using a lot less f+HP unless I need to. When I was researching Falke before launch I figured her s.HP would be good because it was safe as hell for a cancelable heavy that was that long. Then I realized like most of the cast can’t do shit about f+HP unless they jump at it (and it CC’s) so I started running that for a while. Then I realized it was huge jump bait and noticed people would just wait for me to throw it or guess I would throw it and get the most free jump in combo.
Now that I’m using s.HP more again I take a lot less jump in combos. Even if they try to jump out of it during a string if I do it early enough odds are I can still block. Especially if I’m using it in neutral and they jump. Dont mind blocking a jump in cuz I can sit on EX PP to get out any way. Much better reward on regular hit than f+HP due to hit confirmable cancel. f+HP on CC actually stunts the overall damage you can get and if you dont have a life lead only really builds you v gauge at best. Plus if they jump it or are one of the few characters that can EX punish it you might be on the way to getting stunned.
@TWINBLADES
I saw you had a match vs Shine’s Ibuki. You did alright vs him, just didn’t jab punish a few command dashes and such. You have to neutral jump sometimes to bait air EX kunai also. If Ibuki has meter and she’s just standing around in neutral, she’s likely prepping for air EX. Not sure how good that connection was coast to coast.
Saw you beat VesperArcade’s Alex. Dont want no Alex Nation. Saw No Respect’s Urien in there also. Oh and you 2 0’d Blanka named MustardLips. I swear Blanka players give themselves troll ass names to be one with the wild. Not taking Ls vs dudes named MustardLips.
I wanna know who PeepingBird is also. He has a pretty solid Menat. I was thinking it might have been FilipinoMan since I saw he also uses Chun, but I know Filipino has his own account by his name that’s in the 40K LP.
Get back to that Super Diamond. You got it in you. Regular Diamond is not for you.
… Of course, my first match this weekend had to be against Brolynho.
Posting just to have the hope to find the thread later

FUCK YOU!!!
Cody looking sharp
i forgot cody could reflect fireballs and throw in his rock behind it AND his Rock has a hitbox on its start up? so that will mess with jump ins then if they arent timed right i think. Whats good with his V-skill invincibility start up is that shit frame ONE!? i was wrong cody might really break the season 3 mid tier character cycle
EDIT: NIGGA HE GOT A SF4 LIKE COMBO IN THE CORNER AND HIS DAMAGE IS GOOD TOO!? okay i take it all back im happy with him
His fireball reflect is really unique. The fact that it reflects while throwing a rock means you can basically throw 2 different types of fireballs at the opponent at teh same time. Covering a lot of real estate.
His V Skill from what I’ve heard is throw invincible on frame 1 and attack invincible on frame 3. Once the attack invincibility kicks in the invincibility lasts a while. Meaning you’re only going to be able to beat throws on your wake up, but in neutral you’ll just be able to disrespect so much shit. Likely wont be too bad to mash during gapped block strings also.
I …i need FM and a shank
Chun has a combo like this in the corner, but it requires her to land a CC that only hits standing opponents. Least this only requires them to wake up jump. You would need all your V timer to finish this whole combo, but the damage and stun is still absurd even if you only do part of the combo.
I hope it has enough inv to kick Akuma out of his VT air fireballs
