SFV Lounge: It was coming and it CAME HOME. Ono is your Evo 2018 Chamion

DBFZ… I need to figure out what to do to spend the next 2 hours instead of watching EVO.

Since the new Tekken character has a blunt weapon, it really makes me think it should’ve been Shao Kahn instead of Negan. Bring all the fighting game bosses from our childhood.

So where the fuck was your outrage against Namco for the last two decades? They’ve been doing this shit for years, not a peep from you.

Which is the entire point. They certainly could put a bunch of Legacy Characters in now, but the world is “Season Based Service”. They need to hold back Legacy Characters every Season. And real talk, New Characters won’t sell their Seasons. Tekken doesn’t have pick up and play characters like SF does, they take a shit ton of actual dedication. So you have to pray the couple of Legacy Characters is enough, and I could probably count on two hands the amount of Anna and Lei players in the entire world.

Guest Characters are an easy way to get people to buy their DLC and put some work into newer characters. If people are catching feelings over it, then they should’ve been against Namco since the PS fucking 1.

You don’t even play SFV and you are posting in SFV general discussion. Pot meet Kettle :smirk: Snark, aside if you read my post. I said “If were a Tekken fan”. Tekken isn’t my thing. It’s not about Tekken it’s about guest characters point blank period.

@Saitsu I don’t like Tekken and I did bitch about the Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur and Geralt in SCVI. Probably the only recent game I didn’t bitch about guest characters was DOA5. Because at this point, it seems like the only way I’ll see VF characters again is in DOA…

So, again, the presence or lack of legacy characters in T7 specifically doesn’t concern nor affect you in any way, which makes me question why are you bitching about this particular game right now

Outrage for the sake of an outrage makes you look like an idiot, especially given you don’t play and don’t plan on picking up T7

Oh so you’re willing to ignore the issue you have with guest characters when it’s convinient to you, huh? Lmao
Either stick to your guns or STFU please

Capcom better put fucking Bugs Bunny in SFV at this point

As long as DBFZ doesn’t announce anything crazy Capcom at least beats anime reveal by default.

We can only go up from only Abi last year.

Topic came up in the Street Fighter thread. A game I play and follow. I didn’t go to a Tekken thread. I didn’t seek out this information. It came up here. I saw it, I commented. Just like you didn’t like my opinion and commented. Not sure how I look like an idiot for using a forum for it’s intended purpose :expressionless:

If DBFZ ends early could SFV start early in theory?

Did a quick like 5 minute research on Negan and he’s pretty cool, fits Tekken if they make him a brawler…plus I’m sure there’s a subliminal regarding Negan > Tekken but I’m not deep in in the Tekken and Walking Dead worlds

Was Glenn korean? That’s some 4d chess from Harada.

I’m pretty sure my Boo is coming to SFV

We need to purge these dishonest grapplers

you might get him in costume form maybe :coffee:

You are absolutely right. DOA5 didn’t include Bankotsubo or Genra. VF characters were wasted slots. And no Neo Tengu doesn’t count even though she has Bankotsubo’s moveset.

majority of sf3 chars which are new got considered as wasted slots too you know…

Uh, actually that’s Smash 5’s entire hook. “Everyone is here” is literally the game’s mantra.

I wish literally anything else besides DBFZ was on now. Well except Smash.

lets shift the theme…lets say radiant will present the new fighting game at evo…is it then going to happen after sfv? cant imagine they let that happen because they want to have the focus on sf…

Yeah by the same people claiming to love them and play 3S back in the day. I was there back in the day and 80% of those people were, ironically, playing Tekken at that point.
