I think Smash is actually perfectly on time, Guilty Gear ended a little late with their announcement and Smash started late because of it.
Well it certainly was going to get better after the commentator was half hitting on one of the players.
Looks super one-sided right now, that’s going to be over soon.

Leffen was super pissy about not having good seeding in dbfz right away, like he’s hot shit (and nobody else cries about seeding in tourneys other than smash players)
he got dunked out of dbfz almost immediately
cause he’s only alright at the game at best. His only legacy is discovering the 21 ToD.
He knows melees time is coming soon to a close and he wants a way out but he isn’t good enough at real fighting games to do it .
