Evo could but way too many majors have made smash part of their revenue streams.
finances wise you can’t get rid of them since after the breast fundaraiser stuff, it basically became easier to turn FG events into half smash/half FG and get in free money than to try and promote the hobbies and increase attendance pool by increasing members.
Most of my struggles were vs Hurricane and look, he made top 32 at EVO.
But yeah i studied the Infil vs Veloren match and started doing much.better vs Cammy since then.
Here I thought that was the start of the round. You can go back a couple minutes and they were still doing it for a long time.
Guess we can enjoy more than just the announcements soon (depending on how Mr. Wiz treats that kind of tolerance).

Smash community is complete trash though, no doubt about that. Hopefully at the very least a player ban happens; I don’t want to see a game I love soured because of crap like that, no matter how vitriolic the community can be towards top characters. It’s no excuse to not play your best, you’re just giving into the hate at that point.
Metaknight was a god among ants and still didn’t get banned. Bayonetta bleeds like a pathetic mortal. Smash community will forever be garbage.
Why is two versions of the same game taking up spots at The biggest fighting game tournament when the creator himself doesn’t consider the game a fighter?
The Smash finals was garbage, and the community is garbage too. The games are a time sink on the schedule as it is, and the players intentionally dragging out a match that is already a grind to watch is messed up.
I don’t expect Smash to go away at evo, though I expect the players to get punished. I’m hoping that future evo events only have 1 Smash game, because the list of other games that can be a main event showcase is so vast now (not even counting future games such as Soul Calibur 6).
He has a good chance of taking it but not with Bison.
I’d say it’s between him, Tokido, Caba and Fujimura. They’ve all been playing exceptionally the last days.
Rashid isn’t cheap enough anymore, CoolKid already dropped every combo in semis so I expect the nerves during Top8 will kill him and Mika isn’t consistent enough against all those comeback characters.
It’s also super fucking lame to fuck with other people’s events with your own shenanigans. Still pissed I missed UNIST because of that though part of that is because I’m old.
About to get into GF arena. Gonna catch Rev 2, Tekken 7, and SF5. If you see a gamma Chad in the crowd with a crab hat and an SMB3 shirt that’s me.
My money is on Problem X to take it. Fujimura is the person I rate to stop him if anyone. Secret hope is fo Fuudo to take it all.
Edit: Forgot to add there is no way Smash is going anywhere. The lines for Ultimate were nuts all weekend. No one is gonna turn that money down. Best answer is to correct the community with a sack full of doorknobs.

Will Capcom only reveal G at the biggest fighting game tournament in the world or will they show more? I hope they at least hint the season 4 roster
It’d take too long to explain. TL;DR is that the FGC and smash are about as culturally different as you can get for two gaming communities.
I think its too early for a season 4 reveal. If we get more than G, then it’ll be Sagat
I doubt they’ll reveal anything about Season 4 until Capcom Cup. If we’re lucky we’re getting Sagat stuff on top of G’s stuff, but I don’t count on it.
