SF5 has literally seen 3 different NRS games come and go.
Let’s add to this because this is where it gets really crazy: MKX, Injj2 AND MK11 are all on PS4. That means that the NRS scene only needs one console to fully power their entire scene. Only one console but can’t keep more than one game afloat.
I don’t mean to air out @Evil_Canadian 's and King Hippo’s scene like that, but the NRS scene literally makes no damn sense.
Speaking of, in MK11 throws crush buttons. If fact if a throw touches any kind of hurtbox you get scooped. So if you dare to throw a decent normal at someone they can throw you from a mile away by “throwing” your button and you warp into their hands.
Edit: Ignore even deletes their text when some other pussy quotes them wew lawd
I unironically see nothing with this.
I’m sure I should, but I never really understood why besides the weird rps games try to enforce between buttons, block and throws.
I don’t think there’s any distinction between a hurt & throw box in MK, so yeah, that can work if their timing is amazing. Just like gief could grab dahlsim limbs in some games.
I will never understand why NRS feels the need to sweep under the rug its other games.
I mean it is comprehensible when we talk about inj1 and inj2 (and to be honest i prefer inj1 over inj2) and you could argue about mkx and mkxi.
But Is not like they cant have an inj game coexists with an mk game.
NRS surely loves to shot themselves in the foot by not allowing to their games to coexists.
Specially when you consider their huge (and underserved in many aspects, imo) casual appeal.
