Missed some whiff punishes on St.HP though. Got that one with the v-trigger at the end but I was too far away for the rest of it.
Most of his v-trigger stuff is fake so if they do just a suction you can punish. Usually I’ll let it ride and see if I can catch them with a s.mp to either keep the grounded or counter hit and go from there.

Lol, they could put in USF4 Fei Long and he’d be a top tier character off of normals alone. Although given the trend of how this game’s characters are designed, they’ll probably cuck him out of being able to actually play footsies.

That’s QUITE the level up. Even frost and dark get bodied by people, guaranteed. Punk bodies players that are top 8 contenders… easily.
When I got top 32 at evo, I immediately came home and played my playing partner, he immediately proceeded to body the fuck out of me because while I went to evo, he stayed home and labbed to ways to kill multiple ways off of one hit, compared to the paltry 70% damage that most of my hits lead to.
I played one of the top 3 players that year and I literally almost got double perfected. I realized I’d have to play him 20 times to maybe get one match.
The ride in FG is getting better and seeing improvements. You will never be able to challenge EVERYONE unless you are the evo champ, and even that is fleeting.
Play to improve, not to make yourself feel better because you can give this or that top player a run for their money.
There were top players in sf4 that I could go ALMOST even with, then there were players that no ones ever heard of that would just destroy me. This shit happens. Enjoy the road, not the destination.

Nah were occasionally discussed it here, I even quoted it, the last time I speak Doppio haha but the difference is as a comedy thing because of his funny claims and missed. That people laugh out. Not something people expect to happen.

This game’s playerbase is so weird. I ran into some Platinum Kolin who was level 70 with the character, so for all I knew I expected him to be kind of decent.
Turned out his gameplan consisted of randomly alternating between all three Vanity Steps and alternating between normal jump and double jump after Heavy Vanity. Never used cr.MK, b.HK or st.HP even once. Barely walked.
So after beating him I checked his profile because I was curious and that guy was close to a 60% win rate.
I feel so stupid whenever I quick rise, the opponent neutral jumps, and even if I see it I react with a throw most of the time
