I can inderstand where hes coming from. I used to feel the swme way when id play guys like shizza and valle.
But…i had to get over it. We all have our lane. We can get better. We may even find a game or character that really calls our name. But for the most part people are average so if you fond somwthijg that you are above average at (plat, is way above average) be happy.
Some people out there are struggling to get out of bronze and silver even after years of trying.
Perspective is needed here.
Games are more about talent than hard work. Theres a reason why valle/tomo/watts took the scene over, compared to everyone else that was ALSO putting in the time in arcades before we had training mode.
“Talent” can be an excuse to be bad, but ignoring the obvious talent of someone like punk or daigo or insert top or close to top player over “gamerboixxx” or “l33tcrotchgrabber” is also something that shouldnt happen. I was always way better than my highschool homies at fg’s through sheer natural talent. I didnt work hard to beat them. Didnt need to.

Oh it quite honestly might be. There isn’t a lot of options for the actual big reveals - it’s either characters (meh), an update (won’t happen before 2020), a second cinematic story mode (the public at large and competitive scene won’t give a shit), a or massive balance patch with potential new mechanics (weird to drop in the middle of a CPT season)
