I like emuparadise but MVC2 had been taken off there. Every other site I went to were crammed with click bait ads and sketchy looking download button images far away from where they should be. The couple I was brave enough to click took me to other sites, or was trying to download exe files

I couldn’t find an MVC2 rom to be honest. I booted up both Fightcades but MVC2 wasn’t shown in either of them as available games. MVC1, MvSF, and Marvel Super Heroes were though, just not MVC2.
I may look into MVC1. I didn’t play it as much as i prefered 2 but there a dozen or so people active for 1 right now
And when i got rid of my Dreamcast (2006ish) it was for pennies.
I used to manage a Gamestation store in the UK. We had like 20 2nd hand consoles

And never download the exe format,that’s asking for it.
Having that said you can download stuff like ccleaner or malwarebytes that autoblocks bad stuff to save you the trouble.They are free.

Just found one. It was actually from the first link google found but there were like 10 download icons. Just had to click on the one that looked legit lol

Most sites have these big download buttons lol.
The smallest link is usually the good one though.
Most sites try to make you use one of their crappy download managers.Never install stuff like that.

There are retro bit consoles that have around 600 nes and snes games compiled in it and has hdmi output as well as filters for image and scaling.
They can make crazy stuff these days.
My luck is literally the worst.

I sent the laptop to a repairer and they said the hard drive was fried. Idk what the actual technical diagnosis would have been.
Also they may have said that it was just wear and tear (or not) can’t remember. But I dl’d the file and my laptop immediately was like…l fucked. Half blue screen, some commands partially worked, some didn’t, shit only worked sometimes. It looked kinda like as if I had broken the actual monitors glass if that makes sense.
But anyways they replaced the hard drive and sent it back to me. Worked great, but lost all my shit.
So yeah, “fried” is about as accurate as I know how to describe it.
Maybe I’m crazy but I really don’t worry over doing. The way I look at it, there’s way bigger fish to fry than little old me downloading old ass games onto my phone or laptop.
Plus it’s not like they’re losing money on it in this day and age. Even if I were to go legally purchase it from GameStop,eBay,Amazon etc the devs/publishers ain’t seeing that money anyways. Now as far as music and other media I pay for a million different streaming services. It’s cheap and easy.

I wasn’t worried about breaking laws (though that’s a concern with downloading other things, like movies and such). I was worried about viruses. Every website looked like I was a wrong click away from destroying my laptop.
