The smash community can be shit incarnate, but I respect the hell out of their work ethic to play what they want. Even anime players try hard to grow and get peeps playing. SF(IV) players are fucking spoiled cause they want everything handed to em.

You know how shitty it is that you can only get MvC2 on PS3/360 but only if somebody sells you a console with the game already or game shares you a copy for 100 bills?
SF4 scene refusing to do work to prop up the game doesn’t mean its suddenly unplayable. Fucking hell, you have it on PS3, 360, PS4, PC. What more y’all want?

As for the SF4 talk, the people I know that hate SFV are still on SF4 24/7 and have no intention of ever changing. I’m not saying the online playerbase is bursting or anything, but people that really want to play it, find a way to play it. They’ll organize lobbies at certain times, have online tournaments, and all sorts of stuff.

So if Akuma,ryu,etc. are shotos, and gief,mika, are grapplers, what do you call like Karin,birdie,cammy etc? Characters that don’t have a fb/dp and aren’t grapplers? Also what the hell do you call Laura? She has a fb but also is a grappler.
Simplest thing would be to call em hybrids. But I ain’t gon get into detail cuz it’s 12:11 am here, I don’t feel like thinking hoard and I actually need to be sleep so I don’t get fired from my bomb job by getting there late lol
You guys were right, training stage makes everything better.
I was not aware that I did not put it as a favorite stage in the settings.
After I made that change, ranked became a lot more enjoyable. So much that I don’t rematch anyone if we played on some other stage.
Stage should not affect netcode at all…but hey, it’s Capcom.
Don’t kid yourselves,with all it’s flaws SF4 was a better game.From gameplay to soundtrack to overall presentation.
SF5 does some things right but the things that it does shitty leave a much more sour taste in your mouth.
I do enjoy some aspects of SF5 but I am not a big fan of this game overall,said it from the start.I for one really doubt I will boot it often when SF6 is released.

Comon son. Be real. I play SF4 occasionally with an invite. Also don’t compare SF to smash or marvel, completely different style of game with no main stream predecessor and SF5 isn’t THAT bad, it just sucks as far as the online etc goes.
At this stage of the game in SF4 we had crowds. At the same stage of SF5 - people are playing Tekken. It’s just … not that popular, for whatever reason.
You’re living in fantasy land if you think this game is as hype as the older games. I mean go look at youtube and see crowds going nuts at locals. You’re luck if you get a golf clap after a double perfect in SF5. Again not picking on SF5 - i’m just calling it how I see it.
