Bro EX Zonk is starting to annoy me now, it’s so obviously the best move to use in so many scenarios.
Like, why is Cody NOT going to extend his pressure with a 2f gap EX special that’s +3? I hate how it forces you to just use it constantly to maintain offence. It really sucks the fun out of neutral and pressure, because it’s all linear due to the moves inclusion. It bores me. But if you don’t use it, you’re playing a slow walker with high pushback. You aren’t going to get anywhere when pressuring.
Can’t imagine Kage’s fireballs would be any good in the match

The fact that you can be hit out of EX SPD is stupid.
Also he is used to playing on player one side main reason he missed block headbutt small pause then SPD twice while he was on player two side.
Kage does alright vs Gief. Red fireball is still a fireball and even Chuns fireball is useful vs Gief. Like Chun he also has a well angled s.hk to cover his pokes and jumps at the same time. Gief also cant jump vs Kage at all and thats a big part if being able to handle Gief
jumps aren’t really the fear. gief can just walk you down. the range kage has to play at is too risky vs gief

It’s the same range Akuma has to play except Akuma doesnt have Kages s.hk
akuma can just gamble on approaches, he doesn’t need to sit there and play footsies vs gief like kage does
