I tried tipping it to the pixel but it’s so hard to replicate like I doubt a Birdie is ever going to manage it consistently, I’ll just take my licks if he manages it. HPDP punishing that at a near 100% is solid. Idk why Karin’s hurtbox is so fucky in comparison, kind of annoying.
Yup very playable against me. Very little to almost no lag!

You can reversal lp or ex dp in a lot of ranges vs her but its easier for her to make a lp dp punish miss than it is for birdie

I found the spacing could be super loose to make HPDP whiff, like she has to space it obviously, but there’s a gigantic spacing for her to make HPDP reversals whiff. Birdie has to be pixel perfect.
The f.hk kara LPDP isn’t too hard, it’s just being awake enough to cover for it + the multitude of other quick attacking options. I’ll probably have to tunnel vision for it if I want to hit it clean.

I know arcade culture is still a big deal in Japan, but it’s kind of crazy that the only big SF development this far out is a more expensive way to play the same game.

It’s the one I wanted so I’m glad it’s here. Wish it were a thing at launch so it wouldn’t be a thing for people to worry about to begin with. Pretty much every other Japanese made fighter has an arcade release or gets one eventually. Only like specific IP stuff like DBFZ without an arcade culture gets exceptions.
That strong environment to play all day everyday is back in Japan. Going to see people come out the woodwork and it’ll be nice to see foreign people in Japan like Gunfight and Gllty hit the cabs and grind harder.
