Yeah there’s definitely some outlier scrawny, weird bodied characters. That’s part of why I like Fang even though I normally don’t like goofball characters. His design is just off enough from the mean muscle men and women that fill the game, but still has a very serious and imposing side to him.
we still haven’t had a F.A.N.G costume where he’s shirtless, I bet you he’s jacked under.
I would imagine the craziest Fang would be is like Remy. If he is cut he’s like Bruce Lee. Just like 3 percent body fat cut and not roids o rama.
Sagat - Gief is only a 6-4 in SFV change my mind
What is there to change your mind about that?
It definitely doesn’t feel like a 7-3. You can slowly walk around your way around the tigers and stop Gat’s best pokes with tundra storm. At the very worst I would give it 6.5-3.5.
It will only be 7-3 if you try to rush with Gief.
I specifically said:
“Way too powerful for this movie”
She is crazy strong, and this movie does not present a threat to her on a level that is adequate for her power level. This means the movie has not real stakes, and can, at times, make it a bit boring.
I think i tried to tell you guys this a while ago and i got brushed off. Sagat doesn’t have a truly dominant range in the match. Its only 6-4 because Gief has to go part of the round without VT
I think its 7-3 if the gief player insists on forward jumps or plays impatient
Truth.
ive heard giefs say it’s not even 6-4, more like 5.5
Just throwing this out there but, most people who throw out 7-3 don’t really know how bad that kind of matchup is.
It implies you don’t even really have a reliable game-plan in the matchup. Near as I can tell, Gief does have a reliable game-plan against Sagat, its just not particularly strong.
I could see the argument for 5-5 Chatsire. It really doesn’t seem too bad for Gief, which is crazy considering he lost one of his neutral fireball bypasses.
I wouldn’t say 5-5 or even 5.5-4.5, but it is definitely not Menat/Falke/Vega/Birdie/G levels of bad for Gief in SFV.
A bit of patience and you can get openings. A bad button press by Gat and you can dish 200+ damage and so on.
VT1 also helps a lot at the end game because it is made of robbery.
i meant 5.5-4.5, sorry. haven’t seen anyone say it’s 5-5
Sagat doesn’t have a good heavy that beats up on walk and crouch Gief anymore so must be easier on that alone. In SFIV I would usually check Giefs with s.HK since at the right range they had to take it even if they crouched and could snipe lariat attempts.
Especially since Gief has flex now I’m sure that changes the matchup a bit. Sagat’s shots are OD in this game, but still gotta throw buttons and the buttons just aren’t as scary.
i know for a fact that the s4 universal armor changes really hurt menat in the gief matchup (and other matchups, ie mika), wouldn’t be surprised if it hurt sagat badly too
I can see it being 5-5. People just tend to underestimate gief.
Which is wild because in theory sagat should shut him out. Wait till 4.5 brings green hand back as his v skill 2.
Edit- sagat in general not his sfv iteration.
he can flex pretty much everything with little repercussion and then when he gets close, st.hp slight charged blows up everything, his lows are too slow to stuff it out in time. Lariat is a pretty decent anti-fireball option, and his button buffs let him win the midrange.
