Makes sense. I would say that you should probably hit a heavy bag instead of a concrete wall, but the heavy bags may not be giving you enough resistance. I’ve seen what you do to your sticks.
Remind me to never cross a Brazilian woman.
I’m similar to Naeras in that I’ve never felt that endorphin rush from exercising. The way I keep myself motivated is by either reminding myself that I’m working at keeping the fat at bay, or doing something where I’m actually interested in the results.
Running and martial arts are like that for me. I do them because I enjoy the activity (less so running) and I really love seeing the progress I make over time. With the knock on effect that it comes with a good work out. That keeps me coming back when I would otherwise just sit around being a fatmo.
Angry scar should hurt like a MF, since it has a two part requirement.
It should be on par with gief command throw damage. If you get hit with 4-5 raw Angry scar DP’s that should be a WRAP
It should be understood that jumping against sagat = very very bad. Much like its understood that standing still and doing unsafe moves against gief is very very bad.
Not a fan of health buffs (or nerfs). Actually fix the character don’t just adjust how long they can operate with shit (or completely oppressive) tools.
Sagat is a real actual hard zoner in this game so he won’t get any 1025 or higher I doubt. You gotta be big with a command grab to get above 1,000. 1025 isn’t really helping G or Alex either. They’re both still all in or block all day until you burn V Reversal. Alex temporarily gets defensive options if he can pop his VT1, but that’s if.
That’s kind of my read on it. I feel like they were sort of scared that Sagat would create a player salt overload (they weren’t wrong) so they undertuned parts of him to be safe. Maybe with more time and data they’ll feel comfortable loosening the manacles a bit.
People thought Sagat was going to become some crazy more offensive version with weak tiger shots, but he’s actually the opposite. Capcom was like “oh yeah you’ll get shots Sagat and you’ll cry about how many times he’s shooting, but that’s how he’s going to play. No fun scum like the other good characters”.
Sagat should be scary because he is a 7’2" thai jungle dude. The man stands a clear 2 feet above the rest of his country men while doing all the same Ong Bak training.
Imagine if Tony Jaa was that tall and 260 pounds of muscle that shot fire from his fists?
Regular Thai dudes chop down coconut trees with leg strikes and crack coconuts open with their fists. Take that and give him the Captain Muay Thai serum.
You shouldmt want it with the king is all Im saying.
The extra health does kind of help though. Makes it easier to get V-trigger back after burning a reversal without dying first.
Speaking of Angry Scar, they’ve buffed the hell out of Alex’s Hard Hit and it’s still barely relevant. So I’m kind of skeptical that some sort of even Angrier Scar would change much for Gat.
Like most health boosts though, does it help bring him up any further in the meta aka actually help? Nah, not really. 1,000 health with better tools is always better. It’s clearly possible to make a strong 1,000 health Alex that people would care about running in CPT, but that’s not what they want.
