SFV Lounge: Cammy at the Falken bottom, Makoto is in final phases, Leo Alex is broken

Aaaand they made a huge lobby and I cba joining big lobbies. bleh.

Word is that they’re looking to do something major with akuma rather than just be evil shoto substitute he’s in. You’ve seen how easily he banished kage who defeated both both ryu and sagat easily. If he can banish evil ryu power-level *1000 then imagine what power he will gain with this “heavenly power upgrade”. including surpass Oro.

Oro is only an amateur in his own Oro-fu.

As soon as I saw the Vaati video of Sekiro and knew more info am even more hype for this game.

Oro-fu? imagine being an amateur in martial art you invented.

I don’t know the first thing about throwing moons. So I will take him at his word.

I like to believe that the Injustice 2 player and Pokken DX players are the exact same pool of entrants.

Games aren’t meme shovelware though.

I bet side tourneys get more entrants than that. NRS game scene is on some next level shit. You’d figure they’d at least want to get in a few games of the previous hype before 11 comes out. Shit, the CvS2 side tourney has around 20ish people. Bet MvC2 gets more players than Inj2 too.

Is MK11 gonna be there?

Nah. MK11 comes out next month.

Pert, do you think things will change with MK11? Or do you believe it’ll more or less play out the same with time?

I don’t follow that scene but, how comes DBFZ is getting low entrance numbers?

They failed to add Roshi and people got mad.

SFV leads, tekken right behind, I honestly thought ultimate would have more than the others. I once wanted to try out tekken but everyone says it took way too long to learn.

It’s really hard to get good at, but the learning curve is a lot smoother than people make it out to be tbh.

Yeah that is my limited experience as well. Like learning the basics actually isn’t that hard and feels great when you start to get stuff to work. But getting legit good takes a lot of time.

It’s a double edged sword because it makes Tekken 7 a really rewarding game and one with a big pool of competitively viable chars, but it also makes it a game that feels hard to keep up with if it isn’t the primary game you play.

Why do NRS games always seem to get low entries in tournaments?

Because the people that actually play NRS games have no clue FGs are played competetively.
