I’ll be honest, I kinda wish that costume would give him an alternate hadouken animation that used the buster but kept the same hurtbox as a hadoken. Would’ve been a top tier costume if it did that.

That’s Volnutt. He doesn’t wear the helmet.
Also, the roll costume looks better without the jacket.
I wish it was Megaman X, since X did learn to do a Hadoken and a Shoryuken.

If it was mega man X the hadoken would one shot kill.
Wouldn’t have been in theme for the costumes though. All of the outfits have been Megaman robot masters, not MMX ones.
I guess I’m spending money on that sagat outfit…
Banning wobbling is effectively banning the character though.
I know they have other tools that don’t necessarily suck, but come on. They’re considered barely tournament viable even when they have a practical, consistent ToD? What do you think is going to happen without wobbling?
Oh I know, just wanted to emphasize that they’re considering banning a specific tactic rather than the character outright. Which I just find hilarious.
I can’t wait 'till I see the first guy going “oh sorry I wobbled by accident” and having to fight with the judges about that. Or if someone does a wobble setup without starting the infinite, does the other guy jump off the chair and yell for the judge?

I would have agreed with that reasoning and it does make sense, but i see Megaman Legends’s Roll for Sakura, so i am not sure if they are that keen on consistency.

You gotta keep in mind that it wouldn’t be a Capcom project unless they found a way to blueball the ever living fuck out of Megaman Legends fans. Pretty sure there’s a strong contingent of Capcom employees that exist to troll the people that want MML3.

If in the original costume he was classic Megaman and the secret code would make him Megaman X.
They gave Ada and Jill practically 2 completely different costumes but they are half assing fucking Megaman and Ryu for heaven’s sake.
Actually…would’ve been way doper if the costume code turned him into Protoman.

There are several kinds of outfits:
Default costumes – duh
Story costumes – can be unlocked with FM at the shop. Ryu and Chun are unlocked already as a gift
Premium costumes – these are the battle outfits and many others (nostalgia, professional, Resident Evil…). Can only buy them with hard cash at the shop
Extra Battle costumes – these are the ones you have to fight once each week for four weeks for 2000/2500FM each so that you get the four pieces. They are usually crossover outfits
Fighting Chance costumes – These are in the lootboxes readings that Menat sells at the shop. You can use FM or tickets for the readings. You get some monthly tickets by beating survival. You also typically get one free reading per week.
