So I heard that the game offers nothing to do offline, and is broken online. Review sites seem untrustworthy. User reviews seem too bad to believe. Is the situation the same for both PC and PS4? I’ve been holding off getting a PS4 for this, but if it’s broken might as well wait until it’s fixed.
For me the most frustrating thing is when it randomly kicks you off the server and your doing an offline mode like survival, and you lose all your progress.
Why does an offline mode have to be so dependent on the server
Wait. You can’t play offline modes unless you’re online? What if your PS4 is not connected to the net?
You can play, you just can’t earn fight money. My advice is if SF isn’t a insta buy for you right off the jump, wait until March, everything should be sorted out and more content will be available. To me the game could only refine and expand the lobby and I’ll be happy but that’s not everybody.
I had it pre orderer but it’s pretty useless to have it now indeed, I also think that march after the update is the way to go if you don’t have it already.
Every single match i’ve played since day 1 launch has ended with errors.
Failed to retrieve data 40006
and failed to send match results to server 80001
I’m on PC, i’ve whitelisted SFV everywhere I can think of to do with antivirus/firewall stuff… when the game finds matches they have been very good/smooth connections… tbh everything is working quite well EXCEPT these errors at the end of fights… and they lead to me sitting on 0 LP and 0 Fight money because of it.
I have tried tweeting SFVserver… i’ve tried posting around for advice on how to fix it, last ditch attempt here on SRK 
If ANYONE has any idea what is causing this I would greatly appreciate some assistance.
battle lounges seems to be the only time I get any lag in game. I wish there was a setting where you could only view lobbies that had 4-5 for internet connection.
Is anyone else getting crazy ass long loading screens all of a sudden. It was fine yesterday quick loading finding tons of matches. I been playing for 2 hours and been getting alot of matches, but i was only able to connect to 3, and they all been 4 to 5 bars. When i accept the match it goes to the loading screen, and takes about 1 to 2 minutes, and i get connection to opponent lost, so it goes back to training mode that shit takes about 1 to 2 minutes to load. I know its not my connection ive been getting matches fine these past couple of days with no disconnections, now im going to work irritated, damn you capcom.
Same here ***** loading screen is everywhere for me even selecting in training mode takes a long time to get in. I can’t even get not even one single rank match and battle lounche always disconnects. The damn betas were working better than the full game.
I was struggling the last two days trying to get some decent matches at the battle lounge. It was a complete mess and if my game hadnt been digital I would ask for a refund.
Disconnects, terrible lag, unable to get anyone to join my created room…
Then I decided to stick to casual and ranked fights and filtering them by console only and 5 bars. I wasnt expecting much,let me tell you, but all went like silk. I was getting matches every minute with the most perfect response I have ever seen on an online fighter (I even won most of the matches since for once I was able to guard properly)
I dont know why the lounge is so broken and the other matches work, but they work.
I’m having a similar issue with my account as well.
The weirdest part is that my brother’s account doesn’t have this problem at all and both accounts are on the same PS4.

Not sure, but don’t worry, it doesn’t matter. It probably won’t work correctly until March of next year.
That scenario DevilJin is having is very odd indeed. Even tho i got flagged in Finland when started playing, i have strange feeling that sfv somehow accidentally flagged me to the moon or at least not here in Finland. That would explain why i can only find ppl other side of the earth and there fore fail in connections. It would also expain why i cant find opponents from europe.
Strange thing is that there is one finnish friend i have been able to play with in lobby, no luck with others.
It’s definitely not fixed, I’m waiting 10-30 mins to find a match in the UK. Had this since launch, the only day Ive managed to get a decent number of matches in was Friday.
I really wish they wouldn’t say “it’s fixed” knowing that some people are inevitably going to still have problems. Poor PR there.
I have been trying different setups and I can get matches every 2 minutes only if I set the options to 5 bar connections. At 4-5 bars the search gets stuck in what I believe are lots of failed attempts to connect to other players.
It wouldnt be so bad it that wouldnt mean that I’m stuck to play mainly against people of my country, who are 95% Ryu and Ken scrubs.
I’ve had it set to 4-5, so I’ll try 5 only and see if it helps. Thanks.
