I like it when games are able to balance around moves being good I guess? Instead of making things fair by making everything shit.

I’m sure about all command grabs but normal throws have a few frames extra of recovery.

Or, you know, you can learn to block instead? I mean they are already nerfing throws so that they can’t 50/50 you on wake-up, you will have even less reasons to use them.
Also the invincibility still hits on frame 3, meaning that you can probably still mash it through some frame traps or false strings.

The monitors at PSX were laggy AF, they are not reliable.

I always thought his v-skill and v-trigger should make him recover gray damage faster than others. Hokuto no Ken style.

I basically never used 2LP, now it’s looking viable again. I use V-Skill overhead a lot, and I’m really happy to see it go over lows and throws; max range VSO is now even more of a scary threat. I think it’s bullshit that you’re in the air and you can grab me out of it lol, I hope they fix that for Juri’s ryodansatsu too.

Kinda sad about the throw nerfs though. One of my favorite parts of playing Laura is being able to go into meaty after meaty after meaty, and it’s looking like I’m gonna have to relearn everything.

  • Command grab frame advantage seems nerfed.
  • Air ex knee grab frame advantage nerfed
  • f+HP now naturally links into s.MP
  • c.LP comboes into LP chop

Balrog

  • Screw upper is now a command
  • Lost some juggles

Birdie

  • s.HP now crush counters

Cammy

  • Dive kicks nerfed frame advantage
  • V Reversal no longer knocks down, but is safer on block and tracks better

Chun-Li
-c.LP nerfed to 4 frames
-s.LK nerfed to 5 frames

  • Lightning legs can now be mashed/pianoed and supposedly gives enough frame advantage to link s.LK afterwards (can’t do if you use command legs)
  • Instant MK legs (IALL) is minus 2 now (not sure about LK)
  • All Lighning legs is now VTCable
  • Landing an air normal during V Skill builds V Gauge
  • c.LK is now cancelable into Lightning Legs
  • V Trigger timer is shorter

Dhalsim

  • Frame advantage on hit for s.HP

F.A.N.G

  • Supposedly V Trigger now allows him to do specials without charging

Guile

  • Gets medium medium confirm (s.MP, c.MP)
  • Upside down kick combos into c.MP
  • V Trigger is 2 bars
  • b+HP no longer crush counters
  • c.HP now crush counters on specific frame (probably on just 1 frame)
  • V Trigger corner loop with c.MP is gone (but still may be able to do it with c.LP)

Ibuki
-/+ s.MK is now 6 frame start up (up from 5), but is plus 5 on hit and plus 2 on block (up from 0 on hit and minus 1 on block)

  • supposedly has an EX kunai reload (no info on how many it reloads or how fast it recovers)
  • Parasail now allows you to attack with air normals (no word on speed/recovery)

Juri

  • Fully charged V Skill travels across the screen really fast
  • Get medium medium link (s.MP, s.MK)
  • Tesenrin (DP) is now a punch command
    -/+ V Trigger supposedly on a fixed timer like Chun. Supposedly V Trigger fireballs don’t travel as far and are slower

Karin

  • New air target combo.
  • j.MP air to air seems to set up new juggles now. Helps her deal with the air with more damage
  • s.LK plus 1 on block (down from plus 3, the only plus 3 light in the game)

Ken
+c.LK plus 2 on block

  • c.MK supposedly plus one on block
  • Air EX tatsu supposedly is either minus on block or has to be spaced perfectly to be plus on block

Laura

  • V Skill overhead is plus on hit
  • Still has meaties off back throw and other grabs

M. Bison

  • Supposedly EX scythe is now fully invinicible
  • Walk speed supposedly faster
  • Forward and back dashes nerfed in speed/frames

  • Charge rush special supposedly has frame one armor now
  • Less damage on stuff
  • s.MP, s.MK is apparently a new medium medium for him (used to have it in beta, now gets it back)

-f+MP now minus 6 or 7 on block

  • c.HP now supposedly minus 4 on block
