Oh man Ibuki hid in the forest like a true ninja and about to get these free ass buffs. I honestly didn’t think she needed much so whatever they give her is icing on the cake. As long as they didn’t kill the Sako EX kunai reset I’m golden.
Let’s just hope this doesn’t get jinxed and Capcom ninja nerf him a day before release. I just want him to be competitively viable honestly, so he can see representation instead of the leper he became to all but the bravest of pro players.
Good walk speed will make him mid tier at the minimum. He had some of the longest buttons (including one of the longest cancelable c.MK’s in the game), but just didn’t have the walk speed to make them work. His whiff punish game with s.MK and c.MK is going to be OD if his back walk speed is as good as they make it sound. Psycho axe being able to string into a 3 frame normal on block means he can finally frame trap the whole cast with that move also. Unless they take away his walk speed and take away his c.HP he should be good to go.
Keep reading throws have been gimped but what exactly do people mean?
Range was nerfed?
Damage got lowered?
Now all 6f startup?
Tech window larger?
Characters thrown farther away?
That last one is the one that has some references but makes little sense, it means the Scrub Unity dwellers can’t even input quickrise or backroll or they keep doing the same on every knockdown.
Now that’s only a nerf for the rushdown characters anyway. Would be funny if the zoning characters like Guile or Dhalsim now leave you at point blank and negative on frames, but that would be the true general nerfing of throws.
