@Cestus I always imagined Urien with some Gladiator armor, I like what you posted. He’s still very much naked but the asymmetrical armor looks great. But we must avoid getting too close to Shao Kahn.
An alternative for Urien is to go the ancient Egyptian route instead of Roman and pimp him out with some Pharaonic accessories.

I know the egyptian link, but i will like they try to push the greco-roman aestetic for them… they’re designed to look like greek Gods (Gill-Zeus/Helios and Urien Ares/Hephaestus), theyr style being Pankration, some moves with greek names
BTW Greece and Egypt were strongly connected back then, they even had greek pharaons

Actually yeah, the Kratos costume could work. Kratos himself had some similar moves to Urien in the entire God of War series, like Shoulder Tackle and the Ground Slam

Hey, so I don’t mean offense or to be a douchebag, but do you ever talk about anything other than juri? Every time I see you commenting on something it’s always been about juri like 100% of the time, regardless of context. I’m just curious.
His username is “FengShuiEnergy” and he has a Juri profile pic. I think it’s fairly obvious what he’s going to post about.
I like her alot. Call it an addiction if you will. When it comes to threads like this then Obviously Juri is gona pop up. That’s inevitable. It’s no different from a gameplay discussion. I mean She’s gona pop up because I like to theory craft and since she isn’t announced yet for SF5, I’m brain storming ideas.
Oh and PLEASE capcom keep that the hair horn style going. Pleeeeeeeeeaaasssssssssseeeeeeeeeeee. It’s one of her many trademarks.
I hope they add some interest thing features on costumes but never effect the gameplay.
Fair enough! Her play style never appealed to me but I did think she was the best original SFIV character after viper. I do hope she makes it in. If she does, there’s a motherfucking motherload of concept art for alternate proposed costumes before her final design was greenlit, like, oodles of badoodles of sketches.
I’m stoked either way.
