Juni/Juli aren’t related to each other. They are supposedly “born” in Germany but according to T.Hawk storyline in Alpha 3 Upper, Juli is actually a missing member of the Thunder Foot tribe named “Julia” and Juni has not had any sort of backstory storyline given to her.

Why all this “too many Grappler” blabla?
First of all, a character with a command grab is not automatically a Wrestler or Grappler. (Yun,Yang,Honda,Guy,Boxer(U2))
Also, let’s compare the SF4 Start roster with the leak list:

Honda - Birdie
They are all unique characters, and I think that “brawler-like” characters fits in SFV really good.
Pandora is just a box that sits there, but if you hit it then it opens up and you automatically lose. The best you can hope for is a tie.
regardless, they are connected to each other. ken/zen almost definitely aren’t. it’s not a major quibble of mine anyways it just made me a bit skeptical that zen is a real character.
On the plus side, you’re treated to a post fight cinematic that reveals several other completed characters inside Pandora as well. Your fighter won’t have to be alone!
My last class about “might/may/should” probabilities was like ten years ago lol. Instead of “definitely not in the initial roster” it’s more like “everything is possible”. Plus he was talking about the list as a whole when he said that, not just R.Mika. He’s not giving any confirmation is these tweets.

C. Viper is actually not really a popular character outside of competitive play due to her strength. She rates midish on every popularity poll and people constantly list her among the characters they hate fighting against in SF4 because of her guessing game style offense full of safe moves, high damage and high mobility. Lending her to be considered a “just do it” type character where you can just go crazy and do fairly well.
Not saying I agree with that sentiment, but it’s usually how it’s laid out when people complain about her.
Viper ranked 36th out of 64 (perfectly in the middle) and ranked 6th out of 11 for new to SF chars and while Abel is only 1 point higher than her the next SF4 char is a HUGE jump with Gouken 24th with 30% more votes.
World wide:
35th out of 68 and 4th out of 10 for new chars to SF. (decapre hadn’t been added yet, but I’m counting Poison since this was her first playable appearance in SF and she is on all 4 polls)

Japan
55 out of 68 and 7th out of 10. She ranks lower than Oni and Hakan in Japan.
If we go by those polls Juri is almost for sure in. Gouken and Poison were always higher than Viper. Next most popular consistently is Abel who charted above her in every poll but the USA ranking of the Capcom poll.
Gief at 5%? He’s one of the more popular original world warriors with Chun-Li and Guile, he has much more staying and star power than any other grappler and he’s been on at least 2/3 “leaked” lists I’ve seen.
I would give him a nice and healthy 70% jump in probability.
Totally agree. It’s worth noting however though that Zangief is actually ranked 9th out of 16 for the complete SF2 cast. If we take out the Super chars (including Akuma) he is still ranked 7th out of 12. Not really THAT great. In the ehubs poll he was ranked 4th out of the WW chars but the Ehubs poll automatically excluded Ryu/Chun who’d already been confirmed to be in SF5 obviously.
Also Guy has a better shot than Dudley too for sure given his ties to Bison. His style is fairly unique to anyone else revealed so far (and really pretty unique itself). He is decently popular as well. And if we go by sheer popularity Cody should be at least above 0%. He ranks one of the most popular characters in SF. Capcom poll put him at 15th overall and 19th in the Ehubs poll. The only thing that puts the FF chars into question is that banner in the background of London.
I’m also completely disagreeing with his 5% for Sakura. She is a mainstay character in SF. She is one of Capcom’s flagship characters that they put on most of their merchandise. She is one of the most popular characters in SF (Ranking 6th in all of the Capcom polls) she has appeared in most of their cross over games as well. CVS, Pocket Fighter, MVC, Puzzle Fighter, ect. I’m not saying she’s got a great shot, they might want to give her a rest, but she’s got a much better shot than 5% just by sheer popularity by the public and Capcom.
R. Mika probably in? Hell yes!

Btw. I don’t want to fill the hype meter, but the most popular German magazine (4Players) also posted the news about the siliconera article with the 4 leaked characters. They usually only do this if it’s a reliable source.
Yeah if the next reveals aren’t on that list I tend to also not believe it.
Maybe we’ll know more by the end of this day already.
