Is what i’m saying, aside Cammy/Birdie nation don’t seem to be only “link” they use to chose couples
Ryu (jap) and CHun(china) have been shown together as SF icons (and both have been in SF2 and SF3) and starting points. They are just iconic and a good way to start
Dictator(?) and Charlie (Murrican, likely Egypt stage) are shown close because they are rival as characters and as factions (Nash now is linked to illuminati)

I don’t think that about the “leaked characters” is true. Those names “Zen”, “Rashid” and “Laura” sound fake as fuck. But otherwise it included Mika, Urien, Alex and Karin… I prefer to think that was simply a common wishlist.
I definitely don’t like the idea of having two Indian characters in the game (specially because that would mean Dhalsim’s back), also Zangief and Rainbow Mika is just ugh! I don’t think having two pro wrestlers in a game with such a limited roster is a good idea.
Outside of that, the New Zealand and Brazil stages (which I don’t think they’ll waste with two “new” characters) are missing from the list.
This…makes no sense? How do they sound fake when they’re legit names(besides Zen, I think) in real life. What’s wrong with having two indians when we have two english people?

I just think those names sound like something made on the run. As for the Indians, I think Dhalsim is already a very effective stereotypical representation of Indian culture, I don’t think there’s need of yet another one. It’d be like adding another Turkish fighter… and including both the new one and Hakan in the game.
Not to mention I don’t even want Dhalsim in this game, Necro would fit much better to SFV’s new game style.
As for the two British fighters, the series has already introduced about 4 English fighters (including Eagle and Dudley). Having a London stage makes all sense of the world because they might add to the game more English characters later and re-use the same stage, same goes for China (where we also have Gen, Lee, Yun, Yang, Fei Long, etc).
Also, what about that rumored character “Eisbahn”? I think the New Zealand stage could be his.
Kotobukiya has a silhouette Ibuki statue at SDCC as well as Poison actually on display.
Not saying either character is going to be in SF5, but hey they are promoting the characters.
First off, Eisbahn means Ice Rink, and I don’t see Capcom naming a character that.
Then, I see no problem with two indians if they plan on having more then two english people, but I do agree I would have preferred Necro over Dhalsim…

That list sound kinda strange since does’nt count brazilian city stage we already know exist (and New Zealand? I doubt is considered the jungle stage)… sound like somebody just have read the first of the two leak list and try to find a stage logic to it
Also the number of pro wrestler will be 3 counting Alex, and i’m ok with that since all 3 are really different roles

the one thing that throws me off about ken bogard’s new character names is that i think it’s a bit odd to decide to call a new indian character zen when you already have a character called ken in the game and dhalsim himself is a kind of zen like figure in some ways.
Don’t know what to believe. Ken Bogard said R.Mika will definitely be not in the initial roster.
But if Siliconera is right RagingStorm’s list might be true after all.

As long as ken is in and they dont screw with his special move set ill be happy. Im not a fan of this slow character unveils either. Come on capcom increase the hype n let us know at least 50% of the line up

I’m french and just found the tweets, he said that the list is almost certain bullshit, that he can’t say much because he already said too much which is the reason why this list exists. And then he says that a list with Mika is probably fake (adding “XD”,a silly face) but might turn true in 5 years.
Doesn’t mean much really, he’s not saying she won’t be in the game. Just joking and not giving any information. No confirmation in these tweets.

and if you meant juni/juli (or even yun/yang) they are related to each other. ken/zen in the same game with no relation to each other is a bit of a weird choice when they could call zen anything they wanted. that’s all i was trying to say.
