Zangief should get full pro wrestler uniform similar to Raiden from Fatal Fury but without the face mask and obviously with a red/yellow colour scheme, perhaps with a Red Cyclone motto somewhere. I would also make his mohawk longer and maybe with a tail end similar to how he was in the Street Fighter V anime series.

Anyway there is a high probability that you guys are reading too much into this. Although Rose, Sim, Gief, Akuma, and Sakura make a lot of sense. Gouken’s business seemed finished. Gen is up in the air and Honda is a bad decision.

I was thinking just today I’d like to see one of the new characters be a garbageman, or some other blue collar type who doesn’t have any special fighting skills or training, or great aspirations, but under extreme circumstances, has a heightened sense of strength and agility. It could be a woman too. And rather than them fighting with garbage, they’re the greatest characterized analogy for the metaphor “taking out the trash”.
His or her rival would be Birdie because as it is right now he’s a fucking huge litterbug and that is just not cool!

Yeah but if it were Cody then it wouldn’t be a new character. Give me a garbageman structured like Abel, maybe a v-skill roll, but not a grappler, maybe he has some security devices like a taser, mace, and occasionally whips his nasty rag at you, which can act like a poke or a projectile.

How would you implement roll as a V-skill? It seems like an “obvious” choice considering what else they’ve done, but then you have to give it a way to earn V-gauge. Most ways I can imagine to provide that turn it into a better version of SBF.
