He does use both hands on his Max Supers, kind of gives you a hint of his strength.

I think i came up with a good V-trigger for Poison * still holding onto some hope she makes it in.
V-trigger = Mad gear, summons Mad gear underlings to assist her in battle
Up+HP+HK - summons Eliza who dives down from the top of the screen with her knives. counts as an overhead attack
Back +HP+HK- summons Axl who Blocks/ Absorbs an incoming attack from the opponent allowing poison a free counter attack
Forward+HP+HK- summons J who immediately rushes in behind the opponent and attacks them from behind.V-Skill= same as i previously mentioned. Poison uses her handcuffs to prevent her opponent from attacking for brief period of time.
Also Random observation , Could Carlos Miyamoto possibly be one of the character’s revealed along with the brazil stage? He apparently was from brazil.
Actually I’ve always wanted Damnd to be a sort of heavy body zoner who uses madgear members instead of fireballs. I could go back a couple of years and find posts of me suggesting similar stuff to this. I know I brought it up in the thread about decapre before she was announced. Damnd works best (imo) because
- He hasn’t ever been done before
and - Because in Final Fight he actually kind of works this way, in his boss battle he fight you for a little while then jumps away into a subway entrance and whistles to bring gang members to him.
My thoughts were actually pretty similar, I wanted El Gado for the jumping knives attack as an arc (just like FF1). I had thought of Axl or Slash as a character who walks forward until he gets in range and then punches you and is able to absorb ~2 hits. The third one calls Hollywood (in the red outfit) who throws a molotov on the ground which lasts for a short while just like Dormamu’s flame carpet attack and hits low, not sure if it’d disappear when Damnd is hit or not.
The catch with the gang members is that they’d get knocked away with strikes as well as projectiles.
Doing an Up motion is probably not a good idea, it’d be best to do Neutral / Forward(or back) / down
Neutral = El Gado
Forward/Back = Axl/Slash
Down = Holly Wood
He’d be limited to one henchman at a time, his V-trigger would be a powerup that allows him to have 2 guys on screen at once. This could potentially set up stuff like Birdie has with a low hit and overhead at same time using his banana and overhead kick. I’m not sure exactly how that is handled in game for blocking purposes…
I’d like them to pull some chars from FF2/3. I think that while not nearly as iconic as FF1 there is some good designs in FF2/3. As with all FF characters, especially bosses, there is a TON of room to expand on their moveset since they usually only have like 3 moves.
Retu could be a fun Rival for Honda/Sodom/Maki. He never met the two main FF protagonists though, Cody and Guy.
I like Freddie’s design but I feel he’d just be another generic big body grappler

Eliza as a dual knife wielding female character could bring some unique stuff to SF’s gameplay.

Her move set is REALLY sparse (like all generic enemies) only having a forward kick, a slash attack and a pretty cool looking forward flip jump type attack.
Fritz could make for a good rival to Guile or Rolento with his military designs. His fighting style would be pretty unique, he fights with dual stick hand grenades using them kind of like escrima that he can also blow up.

If they pulled again from FF1 again, another idea besides Damnd I had was for Two P and J to be SF’s first puppet type character. Play as one char and the other is a puppet. The main character switches depending on color picked so you can either play as J for main char or Two P for main char with the other being a puppet. SF5 would actually be the perfect place for it with V-Skill being puppet controlling.
The puppet character would have his own small health pool and when knocked out they become unusable for a period of time (like 10-15seconds or something) then recover.
