Oro is like the coolest old man in the history of fighting games.

Mikaās inclusion into the roster doesnāt necessarily forbid Alex to join the game at all.
What upsets me sometimes is some kind of people cursing at her randomly, without knowing Capcomās intentions on creating her personality and whatever. Then, thereāre almost long 20 years around that sheās being out of the SF games. Like Karin, Urien, Maki and Alex, she needs to show up this time.

Come on⦠Fuerteās voice is fuc*** boring, but heās very funny to play with. Watch some Pepeday matches as El Fuerte and youāll be surprised with his cool skills. Actually I donāt understand why does people hate this char so much, since heās a original addition amid a plenty of shotos and clones (Ryu, Ken, Dan, Sakura, Oni, E.Ryuā¦go onā¦) roster.
I agree that its more like Zonk but both move are about as similar as Matador Turn.
As for how good it is or not, from the reveal trailer we know that it can be used to end combos to gain V-Gauge like Necalli but off of his launching st.hk(?) so he has that advantage. Matador Turn losing to crouching normals isnāt that big of a deal anyway since the vast amjority of V-Skills have been anti-fireball tools, plus the upper body invincibility will make it, at the very worst, a solid anti-air that he needs since he looks to be missing his Scarlet Terror this time around.
That is very true , however I donāt think that he would be saying those things about Oro if he knew for sure he was going to be in SF5, it didnāt feel like trolling
Dumb speculation, I know, but:

If you look at the opponents Claw is facing in those previous appearance pics, two out of three are already announced for V. Is that a hint about the third?
Edit- Nah, just looked at the equivalent graphics for other characters, hadnāt really bothered to look that closely before. Or anyway if it does mean anything then look for Adon, Hakan, and Guy.
cuh boxer should be like his svc chaos version. lean and mean and fiscally responsible.
good call on dlc though. the main cast should be all the mascots and characters no one likes (vega, birdie, BALROG). dlc should be all the memes and fanservice characters.
edit: shit character list:
-oro
-sean
-12
-necro
-remy
-geki
-guy
-haggar
The thread I came here for. Letās 4 returning and 3 new left. Boy, this is getting tough.
I want:
Alex
Sean or Ibuki or Sakura, mostly Sakura due to her and Yun being my only mains that havenāt been announced
Akuma
Yun
I expect:
Akuma - Capcom would be dumb not to include him.
Guile - On the notion that theyād be stupid not to add him due to Charlie returning. Iād like to see that story settled myself
Urien - To explain FrankenCharlie and why he has the same jewel in his forehead. Plus, to be a III representative
Alex - Capcom canāt possibly f this up again, can they?
I think I expect Akuma and Alex to be in the game the most.
Also for the new characters, Iām hoping for 2 more bosses. Iām sorry, Iām a sucker for multiple bosses. Hopefully Capcom of today can show that they can make good new characters because a lot of Street Fighter IVās newcomers were of questionable quality.
Oro was cool as shit. Picked his butt, fell asleep to recover his stun and he had ex versions of all his super moves. His ex yagyou dama is basically a spirit bomb that covers almost the whole screen.
A new next gen game could make the old man look really swag and give him some new fans.

bring him back but with two armsā¦
I wouldnāt mind Oro making the cut either.
Also, I forgot to mention Guy. Iād love to see a SFV style Guy.
Iād love to see Illuminati vs Shadaloo vs a new group but thatās asking for too much.

Has anyone kept track of the time between reveals so far? Maybe thereās a pattern there?
Whatās the next event we can expect?

Vegaās Matador isnāt like TAP, itās more like a variation on Codyās Zonk
Vegaās V-Skill is - press buttons -> upper body invincible dodge. Hold buttons -> Dodge + counter attack. Sort of like Kenās run is run - tap buttons, hold buttons -> Step kick.
His V-Skill is going to suffer from the same problems as Codyās zonk and Codyās dodge in Omega mode though most likely. It wont be very good vs any attack that has a decent amount of active frames, the timing to actually DODGE an attack will probably be nearly as strict as a parry but without as much frame advantage and unable to dodge slow fireballs unless you do the follow up (maybe). Also you wont gain V-trigger for a dodge like you would with a parry/absorb like Bison/Nash/Ryu have. Most importantly itāll lose the most commonly used attack in footsies: crMK, as well as likely many of the currently strong looking normals like Chunās slide and Birdieās jab which looks to hit very low to the ground.
That said, we donāt know exactly what the frame data or mechanics are so I might just be being pessimistic.

It depends on how fast it is and where the hitbox if itās a decent anti air.

In the context of SF, Gen is far more cooler and interesting than Oro. An old Chinese martial-arts assassin that is the only man in the world that can defeat Akuma and withstand his Raging Demon. Iād like Oro more if he actually used both hands to fight so we can see his true power, but even then, the whole idea of him hiding his true power just sounds stupid.
I think i came up with a good V-trigger for Poison * still holding onto some hope she makes it in.
V-trigger = Mad gear, summons Mad gear underlings to assist her in battle
Up+HP+HK - summons Eliza who dives down from the top of the screen with her knives. counts as an overhead attack
Back +HP+HK- summons Axl who Blocks/ Absorbs an incoming attack from the opponent allowing poison a free counter attack
Forward+HP+HK- summons J who immediately rushes in behind the opponent and attacks them from behind.
V-Skill= same as i previously mentioned. Poison uses her handcuffs to prevent her opponent from attacking for brief period of time.
Also Random observation , Could Carlos Miyamoto possibly be one of the characterās revealed along with the brazil stage? He apparently was from brazil.

Gen is more badass but Oro is the cooler old man. We should have them both!
At this point the earliest possible announcement will be at Tokyo Games Show, starts on September 15th if I recall correctly

Gen is only more interesting that Oro in my eyes because Oro has such little story to him. Gen is tied up with both Chun-Li and Akuma plus he has his own honourable death thing going on as well. Regardless, Gen needs to finally fuck off and die because heās been chemo-less for 10-15 years now since Alpha that Iām beginning to suspect his āleukemiaā was probably him self-diagnosing a sunburn.
