I am rather excited for Necalli. I almost wonder if Capcom might’ve ruined the fun showing the best new character first?

I want to see one more Street Fighter 1 character make it into the initial roster.
37.5% (Ryu, Ken, and Birdie) of the current revealed roster is from SF1. 37.5% (Chun Li, Cammy, Bison) is from SF2, 12.5% (Nash) is from SFA, and 12.5% (Necalli) is new to the franchise. In other words, can we get someone from SF3 already.
I would actually want them to show all the new characters whether good or bad first and then add the fan favorites and older characters tied to the storyline later. NRS went did this with MKX and this helped put the new characters in the spotlight and receive more attention.

I don’t care much for sakura, but given that there’s only 16 initial slots in there, I don’t get why so many people want her in there considering they’ve had 7 years to play as her in IV. Come one guys, wouldn’t you rather see fresh faces…
No capcom learned their lesson. Probably only goting to be 25‰ new characters from now on.
I would only be in favor of her joining the party if she receives a de-shotofication treatment and finally becomes an adult, dropping the school girl outfit in favor of one of the many better costumes she appeared in over the years.
Agree with Daemos, however also would add only if post release. Under no circumstance should she make the initial roster.
I don’t think Sakura will make the opening roster, I don’t think they will want to launch with any more shotos.
Having said that when she makes it in I think they should make her grow up a few years and update this costume and make it her main:
For real though, so far - all but Chun-Li feel like they changed in some ways
Ryu looks older, his overall visual appearance gives a vibe of an experienced and a battle hardened warrior, a “I’ve seen some shit” type of guy
Cammy looks grown up as well, has a deeper voice, removed the leg tattoos
Bison has become a little buffed up in muscles, has an even more Evil grin on his face, his hair became gray which indicated the internal changes in his unfinished body
Charlie became a half Frankenstein and has seemingly a completely different attitude from before, basically a 180 personality wise
Birdie has became drastically different and a bit more goofy, which probably feels us he didn’t have great time after we last saw him in Alpha
Ken looks like a different character altogether now, he is faster, he is more arrogant and cocky, even removed the top part of his gi to the waist zone
If this is anything to go by - I’d expect Capcom to continue this trend with returning characters, not just the ones that are in the final roster, but those that will come later as well. I just hope they don’t fuck this up and actually make the younger characters older (sakura, Elena, ibuki, makoto, Vega, yun and yang, even juri)

Certainly wouldn’t mind one, I’d like to see one purely SF character that is 100% centered around doing combos and only combos, which is essentially the entire toolset of Kaz on SFxT

on his face book. It could be this weekend or next week at gamescom.
