b+MK is situational, yes. But the mere fact that it is a great whiff punisher that punishes some pokes her other buttons don’t work against makes it useful.

It’s already a strong tool, I don’t know many other characters that can whiffpunish Dictator st.mk, Adon st.hk or Sakura st.hk with 164dmg (into chip or oki) meterless.
You can otherwise go b+mk~mk, ex legs to get some extra damge from it, or in the corner b+mk,mk into stomps.
It could be better in terms of startup or recovery, but the damage on it is proportinal to how well the normal hits.
Yeah, 6 Frame startup to link from Jabs would be a nice BnB

That’s one of the things I requested but she didn’t get. I like the move a lot and it’s been useful to me for years now, but I think an improvement on it’s startup would’ve been really fitting for her strengths as a character.
I reqeusted it to become 7f, so that she would have a consistent high payoff-threat from her ch st.mp mostly.
Idéaly I would want the command moved to b+lk instead to be able to st.mk with charge.

7f would be Jab CH or 2nd active frame jab - better than nothing.
Ah - or after MK legs, that would look funny!

I think TC is ok as followup, but too risky to just throw it anywhere.

Personally, the more I play SF, the more I try to step away from ground anti-airs.
I practise every single anti-air vs Gen’s Crane j.Fierce
It’s one of the silliest jumping normals ever invented.
If I’m trying to practise vs close neutral jumping normals, then I use sakura’s j.HK or Adon’s.
Overall, I try not to use ground anti-airs. I attempt to:
*Evade them
Dash under (long arc jumps or neutral non-crossup normals)
Low Profile normal (variety of situations, if the move is not super spiky)
*Air-to-air
Neutral/Jumping Back/Jumping Forward
The normal to use depends on the situation. I rarely attempt air throws. Speed is good but they somewhat lack range, don’t have enough active frames, yadda yadda.

I was feeling in a bit of a rut with Chun so I tried playing Rose for a bit today… man having a move that stops people from being a nut was soooo nice. I have such a hard time discouraging people from doing stupid crap with Chun. A soul spiral to the face is more convincing then a fierce punch I guess. People just don’t seem to want to give any respect to Chun
The only thing that seems to get any respect is her anti-airs but that is pretty universal across the cast.
I’ve definitely reached a plateau though. I hate when this happens. Time to suck it up and push through I guess.
