thx i was wondering how to use ESN’s Color Explorer to look for remys attack palettes aswell as others xD could any1 make a nice little quick tut on how to scan for certain colors i tryed the old method screen shot then open in paint program get RGB hex values but for some reason i couldnt find anything
yeah i pop in every now and then. haven’t messed with palmod in a long while but i have some ideas for some new edits. hopefully i can get back into this

Otherwise, it’s pretty easy once you got it, spend 15 mins on it and you should figue it out, I’m sure.
Also, you can still use the DC palette explorer, for sure Remy’s extras are in there already.

The regular fireball effect is shared by the SA1 fireball too. Both SA1 and SA3 have a regular fireball sprite contained in the super. It looks different but shares the same palette. Ryu?s gi flashes during the denjin charge up, that is the same palette as the fireball, it?s split into top and bottom too. The colour of Ryu?s body and hair on a denjin charge is as default one flat colour, so it?s hard to figure this bit out!

Note: I know ESN spent some time fine tunning values for Gouki’s extras, so the values on the site are probably more accurate as this file is quite old. (and since we added more stuff for more chars too)

Yeah I do have a fuller list somewhere but I actually think ESN’s is fuller anyway.
Once I can find it I’ll do a quick compare and see if any gaps need filling.

The other day I was on ggpo and was spectating someone’s match and could see that he was using various pal hacks. I was under the impression that the changes were only visible to the person using the hacked 51 rom file and not the general public.
yeah the colors are stored in the saved state file which is sent to you when you spectate but the colors wont be perm only till the palettes refresh ona new round or match

Really cool Urien and Remy but, what are supposed to be in the rar files?
I only found a .exe file which i will definitely not execute…
its a rom patcher just a codefusion patch sets them as find and replace instead of changing everything it only targets the designated addresses. i can post all the color codes and addresses if u dont wonna use it they aint a virus or anything any antivurus scan would prove it here ive been using it for years now only really good patcher i know. i can do em with other patchers if u would suggest some maybe? and ill update my old posts with them too
