Many thanx for the compliments. It’s a lot of work, but its all fun. Great to see the feedback from players & members, and the league is only as good as it’s members. We got a great, committed group of players that have made the league success.

I have everyone’s email, but only use them occasionally. The best way to contact members is to use the PSN messages. I hesitate to use Facebook as everyone uses their real names there, and I only refer to members by their PSN screen names. I’ve never used anyone’s real name. Don’t have them, nor do I want them. My name is probably a big mystery. It’s not necessary and I think most prefer the confidenentiality. But since most if us have at least a Facebook account, it makes sense to send updates there. All SFCCL videos and blogs are posted there.
Ah SA your right on that I remember that now, I forgot I challenged the 2 Guiles HAHA. I wanted to earn it the hard way =p at that point coming from the silver division I had something to prove, and wanted to take the title with authority.
and p.s - screw you Zabi-@hotmail.ca ! lol you soo stole my Ryders Cup pick =p hes def a solid pick. His Vega is excellent and he could easily hang with any of the Gold Division so I am sure he will be a great choice for the Ryders Cup.
…damn, I suck this week. I lost against xx_Von_xx 2-0 and against deltron2020 2-1, which means I’ve lost all four matches this week. :sad: Videos will be up hopfully sometime this weekend.

Everybody who has been invited, is somebody I would have invited. I am pleased how the team is coming along. The grand Champion title is a stake, but I have faith in my team so no worries on that title leaving my hands ^_^. My connection with some euro players is actually pretty decent, but it is possible for me to do everything on viper with at least 2-3 bars. I’m predicting 2 Griefs from the international team, which could give me some trouble along the way hehe.

KLESK mentioned over on the SF4forums.com that he wants to speak with the Euro captains before sending out the invites in order to have the best team assembled for the Ryder Cup. Well since we have been around a lil longer, (NA Division) we already know who is pretty much the most solid players on the list. Since most of them have been at the top since last season except for jay, but anyone who has seen his Vega knows how good he really is. He even took out my Ryu & Rufus with Vega.
On the flip side Klesk is an amazing Zangief player, as I have played him before and he is hella scary. It is going to be a rough match for Zti considering the Tier list says the match is 6-4 as is.
Also whomever the last captain to choose his team for NA is I would hope that you would take Fran_Gil into SERIOUS consideration for the last spot. Although I’m sure that if flashfan7 wins the match he will invite deltron2020.
As for matchup wise so far whoever is chosen will be fighting Shooryuken’s Blanka.
There are some good players that have recently joined. Of course, outside stats & proclaimations aren’t worth anything. Only thing that matters is winning league matches. Time will tell. Jay is a good guy & one of the up-and-comers.
ZTI vs KLESK is probably going to be one of the matches. Should be a great one. And I also do hope Fran’s Balrog gets an invite as everyone respects his skill with the boxer. Love to watch (not receive) those long, extedned combos he so easily dishes out. But having Flash’s Blanka and Deltron’s Ryu isn’t a bad thing either. His Viper defeated Zti’s Cammy this week.
EDIT - Haduken emailed me that he & Flash will hopefully play later today, so we should know the final roster for the Americas Team by tomorrow.
However there is one correction - the next invite will probably not face Shooryuken’s Blanka. As he is the highest ranked Euro fighter, he will face the lowest ranked Americas Team fighter in the 1st round, which is currently Jay’s Vega. Jay’s Vega will be no lower than the #1 Contender in the C Division next week. Unless the next invite comes from the C Division lower than the #1 Vega, Jay will most likely face off against Shooryuken in the first round (highest vs lowest). Tough matchup, but a potential big knockout win for the team if he can pull it off.
Quick question, so which ever team that gets first to 8 wins, wins the Ryder cup? What if all but 1 survive round 1 from any team, that means the member will need to face everybody on the opposing team in round 2?
Fran_gil’s balrog would be a great addition to the team, but I wouldn’t mind deltron or flashfan on the team either.
