So i picked up a distribution amplifier for $37 at radio shack which has component in and also component out and composite out. So im going to take that for a spin tonight. SBL when are you usually on keep trying to hit you up for casuals but your never on when im on. Also Mad_A we should play some matches anyone in the league actually lets play some casuals cant wait for my fight against the general should be epic.
I might be on later tonight. Maybe 8pm. I’ve been offline in training mode lately just trying to relearn the game with Akuma. I still suck, but I’m improving. My Balrog is ok, but it has slipped since I haven’t plays him much lately. Anyway if u see me just hit me up.

That is a different amplifier than the one I pictured. In fact, I can’t even find the one I pictured above on Radio Shack’s website anymore, so its possible the are fazing it out. I need to get over there and try to get one as I like my s-video connection, and I don’t have a PlayStation component cord.

It goes without saying guys, especially since MAD_A said it already, but it would serve everyone’s best interest if you would contact your opponent as soon as it becomes available and set a day & time to play. I realize everyone is taking their time to play as they prepare for these final, most important matches, but sometimes that delay pushes you up against the deadline. If you set a time & day in advance, you then can have all the practice you need while knowing exactly when you have to play instead of playing message-tag near the end. Just a pice of advice…

well obviously i been lookign for him to the last couple of days i even posted on here, and almost as soon as this round started i sent him a message statign that i would probably be on 9-11 on most nights, and the 2 times i am not on at that time he is on, so i have been trying it is not for a lack of trying sa you stated yourself only 4 of my total wins have been by not having opponents actual play me. I am sorry i just feel like i have made it a effort to play all my matches this season and now i am being pressured like i haven’t been trying i am sorry it just kind of bothered me. But if anyone wants any casual they can add me at flashfan7 on the psn And the reflection post part 2 was amazing thanks for the post. In addition i think the match of the week was a bigger success than you may now, every week i was waiting to see what the match would be and who i thought would win, and the members at least in this board have tried to ask for casuals against characters they may be facing but MOTW should def come back IF the league continues (which i have a strong feeling it well

I’ll try my best. Skrface is, without a doubt, the best Blanka I’ve ever played, so that match could go either way. Even if I win, I’d have to play one of those Sagats and I never do very good in that match.
My apologies if my post came off as if I was criticizing or attacking you, FLASHFAN. You have been, no doubt, one of the best members in the league to play your matches every week. That will play a big factor in determining who gets into the league next season especially if have a more exclusive, smaller league.
Just wanted to give everyone a friendly reminder of how matches should be scheduled, for the benefit of everyone involved. I really do not want to ‘decide’ any matches this late in the season/tournament. But everyone has to play by the same rules. Trust me, if everyone played with your commitment FLASHFAN, the league would run much more smoothly.
And I greatly appreciate everyone’s feedback for my blog posts. Makes them worth writing.
Glad you guys finally played each other. His Blanka has the reputation of being the best online. Surprised no one here is picking him to reach the finals.
I’ll refrain from who I am pulling for or picking to reach the Finals as I shoudl remain a unbias, neutral “Puppet Master” in this thing. 'Watch how my marinates dance for me!’.
But I do hope to have the Final 4 matches recorded no matter who reaches the Final 4 (one fighter is already there).
That part of the tournament is really exciting and interesting to me, & part of the reason I’ve been a SF fan for so long. Each character is unique, and that plays perfectly to each person’s personality. We have the Elite 8 fighters now (2 Guiles, 1 Rufus, 2 Sagats, 1 Blanka, 1 Cammy, 1 Ryu). They all could be considered the best players with each fighter. In fact, that might be an interesting thing to include in the final REFLECTIONS post - a listing of the best players with a specific fighters. Surely would result in a lot of chatter.

Well congrats to ElGenral and good match ElGeneral must of learned a lot from his matches against my Rufus.
BTW wwstar just some helpful hints of advice, learn to snake strike over guiles sonic booms especially when hes far away, u took alot of chip damage and free sonic booms. Doing this will gain u meter (when compared to you dive kicking over them ) and also at the same time it will bait guile to come to you thinking he can get a cheap shot in. Also at close range if u predict sonic boom, use a medium snake strike to get over it and attack him at the same time.
Another thing I noticed is you don’t use Rufus’s BNB or your unable to do it when you try, this is mainly because your divekicks are too high, you need to lower them. If u hit most opponents stomach level or higher the combo will not come out, you more less need to connect with his legs.
And finally, another great move to use when landing a non crossup dive kick is his chain combo LK > HK > Ultra it combos together so you can do it anytime u land a dive kick. It is a great thing to use on the wake up game as most opponents will think your dive kick is going to crossup on wakeup.
my reason for not picking srkface it is not because he is not a amazing blanka (he is) but because if it comes down to deltron vs blanka he has A LOT of blanka experience but than again not one with his level i concur with sbl, plus he has to fight zti’s cammy which is a tough match up for blanka players.
