Anything input lag related will be equal between Pro, PS4, and PC…if the game gets a patch.
MGSV doesnt run on UE4. Your comparison doesnt work.
Thought PS4 Pro was mainly for VR…
After playing MGSV, this game, with 2 characters on screen, could look just like the pc version if Capcom cared enough to do any kind of work. There’s no excuse.
But no, they don’t. Instead we get dropped frames on a game with two characters on screen, and a much less polished look.
Post of the year, easily.
I mean for Capcom. They’re not gonan waste their time on this, even if it’d be a major QOL improvement
Knowing Capcom they’ll call it SFV:pro and charge £7.99 for it

Hearing some people have the PS4 Pro now (images at least). If someone gets it early and can test it around with SFV, would be cool if said person could do some testing on frame-rate performance.

It’s not gonna run any differently on the Pro

It has different specs and an overclocked CPU. I would think that it won’t be 100% identical to the PS4 version in that sense.

The PS4 Pro downclocks to match the OG PS4’s specs on games without a patch. So the game will run the same.

Games have to get patched to take advantage of the new hardware.

Well you’ve thought wrong, that’s just not how it works. There are no “free” upgrades or anything. It’s going to run identical to the normal PS4 version unless Capcom puts out a patch.
In other words, it’s never going to get an upgrade.

Unfortunately it won’t improve the performance on any game at all, even one with big frame rate issues, unless it’s patched to do so. Seems backwards, but it’s true.
Actually the PS4 Pro does run games identical since it basically uses 2 PS4 cpus and just turns one off on non-patched games.

The PRO downclocks it’s CPU from 2.1 GHz to 1.6 GHz to match the original PS4. It turns off half it’s GPU and downclocks it form 911mhz to 800mhz to match the original PS4.
SFV could be improved by a publisher who gives a shit.
It could improve it by getting rid of the heinous eight frames of lag that destroys reactionary styles of playing. FUCK YOU CAPCOM
