It kinda sorta was in a lot of key ways.
Evo doesn’t become as big it did without SF4 exploding it. Considering that Sherry (who got into the scene because of SF4) was the one who helped Arslan Ash with his visa to go to Evo, and that his first big exposure was Evo Japan.
Without SF4, nobody cares about Tekken in Pakistan.
SF4 did a lot of great things that helped all the scenes in the FGC. Much to the chagrin of one person, MvC2 did a whole lot and the 3S Daigo Parry vid did a bunch of other good too.
Not about to get mad at the positive things that games helped do just because i don’t like the gameplay. SF5 gave people the chance to make costume, is literally funding the FGC in the Dominican Republic and who knows what other overall positive things are going on because of it. It is what it is.

It’s just so the collection has everything.
I have game pass so I’m not paying for it. I think it’s free for everyone.
It will be on PC too.
I like reach, especially the campaign. But it has the worst multiplayer in the series in my opinion.
Reminder, bad halo is still better than basically all other shooters.

Reach was the first and only Halo I played in co-op. Played it with a good friend. He bought explicitly so that I could try out that whole experience.

What are you talking about, dude. Arslan is an idealised conclusion of Pakistan FGC that people outside the country have drawn. FGC and locals in Pakistan are perfectly flourishing and the scene there was and still is incredibly active without EVO. Arslan is a hero to us, but that doesn’t mean that he’s unique in any way besides the fact that he went to EVO

That doesn’t mean its a bad thing, its literally just the rest of the planet not knowing Pakistan got down with Tekken in that way. For better or worse Evo existing connects all of that.
