SF4CMM - Street Fighter IV PC Costume Mod Manager

  • This works online
  • your opponent will not see the costume (only if he too applies it)
  • you won’t have any stress with capcom

you mean Seth
Original link:

Already tried it to slot 3, and it works perfectly. So either you’re not using the original COS and VFX files for Seth’s normal costume (BOS_01.cos.emz and BOS.vfx.emz), or the second player you’re selecting has his/hers files messed up.

I know, slot 3 is it what the author made it for, but if you rename it, and the text at the very end like you said, game will crash. Try it please

Actually, it was made for slot 5. I changed it to slot 3 and it worked perfectly. My guess is you’ve applied some costumes to seth and “polluted” your COS and VFX files (i.e., you overwritten the original ones). So, download the original SETH pack (col, cos and VFX), overwrite the ones you have with the original ones and apply the mod again. It will work, I already tested it;)

PS: this is why SF4CMM does not allow you to change slots! This kind of costume corruption doesn’t happen with SF4CMM.

will there eventually be some way to either rip or mod the brush font used for character names, the character select screen, and other things?

I have no idea… Try posting that question in the costume mega thread here: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=199446

Hi
Leogansky,

I downloaded "SF4CMM v0.7 pre-alpha 2"
and i havn’t any extra costume for any character.

i only want to play with original alternate costume
to do so

  1. I start SF4CMM and clicked on costume file manager button and select AKUMA from caharacter list.

  2. Then click on add costume button and i selected Gki_02.cos.emz file and name it as “alternate”.

  3. After That I open Colour File Manager And select AKUMA from caharacter list.

  4. Then click add a new colour and selectet GKI_02_01.col.emz file and named it as Alternate_colour and select Alertnate in costume file association.

I think every thing is done in that portion

Now i started SF4 using custom mod switcher button.

and select akuma and press ctrl+7 (default key for akuma) it says Akuma 1 alternate colour

then i select akuma
but he will appearing in normal costume
not in alternate one i dont know wat i am doing wrong
plz help me…

I think you’re forgetting to press F1 to apply your changes, because everything else looks perfect;)

You can speed up the process by going to the color file manager and applying Original Color File 02 (Alternate costume 1) to the normal slot, to get the same result;)

Hey I got many informations from this thread. Thanks for posting this thread.

No problem;)

i’ve made a alternate costume mod (02.cos.emz) and a color pack of all 10 colors for this mod. I’ve replaced the original costume (01.cos.emz) and original color file (01_01.col.emz) with my alternate costume mod (02.cos.emz) and the 1st color (02_01.cos.emz) using SF4CMM, is there a way to replace the other 9 original color files, with my edited alternate color files?

Edit: problem solved

I just had to register to say thanks for this awesome tool!

Big cheers to all that have contributed!

Thank you;) And thank you for using it!

SF4CMM 0.7 pre-alpha 2

Hey

I am using SF4CMM 0.7 pre-alpha 2 and have followed your steps in your youtube vids and also on this thread plus sf4mods. But seem to have Akuma’s Shin Akuma costume replacing out the original capcom skins even when i cycle using ctrl 7 to original costumes in the character select menu, I dont have akuma selected before i cycle through the costumes i wait until the voice saying original then I choose Akuma as my character , then shin akuma is the skin rather than the original one.

I have .net framework 4.0 installed for windows 7 ultimate 64bit edition.

Under Color File Management with Akuma I have

Installed Colors:

Original Color File 01
Original Color File 02
SHIN_AKUMA
SILHOUETTE_AKUMA

SHIN_AKUMA
Step 1 - Color file checking
Color File Info:
Character: Akuma
Costume: Normal Costume
Slot: 1

Step 2 - Costume File Association
Available Costume Files: Original Costume File 02

Step 4 Color File Naming
SHIN_AKUMA

SILHOUETTE_AKUMA
Step 1 - Color file checking
Color File Info:
Character: Akuma
Costume: Normal Costume
Slot: 1

Step 2 - Costume File Association
Available Costume Files: Original Costume File 01

Step 4 Color File Naming
SILHOUETTE_AKUMA

Under Costume File Manager
Character: Akuma
Installed Costumes:
Original Costume File 01
Original Costume File 02

Also when I choose Silhouette Akuma using Ctrl 7 it says Silhouette Akuma yet when I see the character skin its still Shin Akuma. Also I did look through this thread and couldnt find a solution to this problem.

Thanks

Please help me out… Really want to play vs my friend but cant change the look of char for the second player when we both playing same char… ( i have pc version of SF4)

THanks in advance

Hi, guys!

Just updated the video tutorial. Go check that out in the first post. Hope it helps.

Hi, Armored;)

Thanks for the support. In order for you to fight the same char in a versus match (like Ryu vs Ryu), you need to apply a costume to the normal slot and then another one to the alternate slot (you can also apply the same one, but in that case it will be difficult to know who’s who!). Then, using costume toggler, make player 2 select the alternate color 1, and you’re good to go;)
