FYI, apparently there’s a SF4 tourney this Sunday. I know they did some kind of sponsoring for NWM so I was gonna throw them some business. I stopped in to buy a TE and the clerk mentioned it. He said they were printing up flyers “today” which gave me the feeling they hadn’t advertised this too well. Sure enough I couldn’t find it on SRK.

Noon is great time to start at. I will be there for sure. I can help run the brackets as well if you guys need it. I know all the players and can balance it out.
I called to try to get the rest of the details. The clerk didn’t seem sure about much. It reinforces the feeling this wasn’t organized to well. I’d set your expectations low, but hell… we use to do tourneys at Loki’s store; it’s gotta be better than that, right?

That’s pretty much what I got from him when I called 20 mins ago. The only sure thing that’s even slightly positive is that you can bring your own sticks for sure. I might go just to try and get that credit to buy SFIV to hit practice mode (haven’t had the game since march) and a XBL point card, then sell the leftovers for twenty bucks or something. Only if it’s double elim, though. Getting randomed out and losing ten bucks would blow too hard.
