Anyone have more of Joe’s Viper? That player is a freaking master.

14:40, i never really knew gief was THIS retarded. he literally 360’d chun from ONE-THIRD of the screen, no exaggerations. holy shit!!!
zangief dashes back from a knockdown, chun whiffs throw, gief 360s from a mile away. insane.
user tartan1 has the other 5 casual matches of daigo from the new “sky” sets
gief? chun?
Yeah, Gief backdash SPD is pretty gdlk. Backdash in SF4 is pretty gdlk in general.
EDIT - And yeah, his SPD range is pretty retarded.
the fight between tetsu and kubiwa was insane…:looney:
it’s the second last match on the vid.
The range didn’t seem isane, when you whiff grab your hit box gets extended.
lol did anyone else notice the HD remix tiger knee juggles that Sagat was doing on Chun in part 2 of the these videos???
Or is that old news?
Sagat…:shake:
I do that all the time. It’s just like how Vega’s flip kick can juggle if you time it right and get lucky; it’s just not many people do it.
Oh ok so does it work on everybody?
is the TRF set with Fuerte winning from the beginner, intermediate, expert or free play bracket?
Sagat’s knee juggle? Don’t take my word as final, but for the most part yeah, I’m trying to remember when I land it, it’s usually against Guile/Ryu/Balrog, so it should work for most people. Dunnow exactly what strength or distance, etc. with which it needs to connect, but just try going for it after a tiger knee and it’ll connect more often than not.
Try it out in training to see if you can get it down (but I’m done derailing the topic lol)
Wow, a flood of Daigo matches lately. We’ve gotten at least 15-20 of his matches in the past 3-4 days.
so far there are 17 daigo matches put on youtube, and 6 from the kumite
i wonder if there will be many more after the update, definately should be some insane ones from sbo and evo coming up
OK Part2, the El Furte VS Ryu fight, starting at 12:49… WTF DID El Furte do?! it looked like some infinite combo or something… someone explain!
make that 18

Quoted from event hubs…
"Fuerte is the only character in the game to have a combo that can be looped repeatedly for massive damage and frustration of your opponent.
It’s done by pressing Hard Punch when close, Canceling into his Habanero Dash, press Light Punch to stop the run and then starting the whole process over from the beginning, starting with the Hard Punch when close.
This results in El Fuerte continually running up to his opponent hitting them with Hard Punches which will soon dizzy or kill them.
It’s unknown how many times this can be done in a row, but most assume it is unlimited.
Many players are setting up this loop with a Level 3 Focus Attack, Dash Canceling and then going into the first Hard Punch up close.
Even though this is a devastating combo loop some would say unfair it is NOT easy to pull off the string of attacks consistently."
I can tell you are new to these forums. Try looking around first or searching.
And despite all that, he’s still firmly planted in the bottom of the cast (as of now). Tetsu winning the last two TRF tourneys might help his case a little bit.
The character takes a lot of damage, but he seems to have a lot of promise, plus an pseudo-infinite (or true infinite) that will only be executed with more consistency when players can practice on the console release. He’s an entertaining character to watch and I hope more players start to pick him up.
Yeah He has a infin or semi infin, if it wasnt for that, he’d suck BAD BAD.
I don’t keep up with SF4 strats and techniques much right now. I remember hearing something about the “P-dash” as some sort of focus canceling. Did this ever take off? I don’t think I’ve seen it much in gameplay vids. Or maybe I don’t know what I’m looking for.
