Wow @ 3:00
Akuma had that ish SCOUTED.
That EX air fireball is deadly, hehe, guy can peacefully walk up and combo after it for ~40%.
Daigo looked mad paranoid about that double RH. That shit is easily confirmed into 30-40% damage before scaling. Daigo looked like he was having trouble approaching Momochi safely.
Daigo VS Kindevu

Rufus’ divekicks could use a little more start-up if you ask me. That shit is hard to counter even if you’ve got it scouted.
The Kindevu match is good. Shows how someone can adapt over the course of a match well.
I’m scared by watching that Momochi match about how Akuma will evolve over the course of time. He’s already being played with 100% defense and huge punish for mistakes. On knockdown, he pressures with one unpunishable block string, then teleports out of there. Daigo even caught him in the corner when he teleported, and he was unable to do anything to him (I’m guessing teleport is 100% safe on startup and cooldown, which is silly imo). The Raging Demon was pretty good, though.
I want to see more offensive Akumas. If this strategy is already this well executed after 6 months, I hate to see how Akuma will be played in 2 years.
There are rushdown Akuma players, but it’s pretty risky considering the damage he takes. It’s best to land a quick combo, then drop air fireballs and run away. Especially considering that his air fireball hits from behind at a certain angle towards the ground if you try jumping in on him.
I say he has to be played with a mixture of both.
yeah i agree. akuma doesn’t get a wake up parry to make himself getting knocked down not as scary…so he’s in huge amounts of trouble if he’s down especially against the likes of gief/sagat which are the only vids i’ve seen akuma go against.
i would like to see akuma rushing…but in tournament matches, it doesn’t seem likely. the risks outweigh the reward too highly
Friday’s TRF tourney is up.

Another great run from Tetsu fuerte. Other highlights were Kubiwa Claw all of his matches were very exciting. Also Ii Desu Ketsu Bat Honda top honda at that arcade made a better showing than usual.
I used the redirector on the first page of this thread, and pasted that link in there, and the last videos on the page are from mid-November?

In the TRF 12/19 p1, honda hits a c.lp xx hand slap xx super. Do you not need charge for that or does the hand slap naturally move forward? Crazy vids thanks for the post.
