I don’t know if this is already posted before, or it’s already common knowledge. But it’s a funny combo. I haven’t seen this in any game so far. But maybe that’s more because it isn’t a very useful combo.
It’s cr.HP~red fireball. You only use 1 cr.HP input. It does 275 dmg, which is pretty decent.
Don’t know if it will work with farHP though. Also it doesn’t combo if you combine it with jump HP. (i couldn’t get it to work anyway )

edit: new vid. + i noticed it only works when i turn counter hit on. Don’t exactly know what that means. But i guess it’s now even more useless. :bgrin:
CH gives you extra frame advantage on hit
+1 for light
+2 for medium
+3 for heavy

how do you guys think akuma’s BnB compares to other characters? his BnB was so hard to get at first, but i still feel like a lot of the other characters have much tougher BnB because it seems like nearly everyone else requires a lot of links to do theirs, while akuma’s isn’t really SRK-spammable. could just be the amount of time i spent maining him though so i’m not sure. with the damage it deals, i’m not sure who else has as solid of a BnB

I was trying to articulate this to someone the other day, I totally agree with it. Akuma’s BnB is so vast and solid at the same time, depending on what you want to do or what’s easiest / most convenient. That’s part of what makes him such an amazing character though.

i don’t have a problem FADC’ing in the BnB or any other moves, but i always fuck up with c.MK -> hadoken -> FADC. is there a slight pause between the hadoken and the FADC? when i do the hadoken by itself i can immediately FADC after executing it, but it never seems to come out when i cancel from cMK
Yes, there is a slight pause. At least that’s what I’ve noticed. I try to hit the FADC like the frame after I finish the 2-in-1 and it never comes out.
Also I wish I could add a combo to his “silly” combos section, lol. Basically the inputs are sequenced backwards from FP to LP and then from HK to LK, pretty funny only works on RH loopable characters though, I practiced it on Sagat… just a jFP, crMP, stLP, stHK, crMK xx LK tatsu… and then you can do LP DP FADC shaku for a total of 445 damage and 731 stun, but the important part was before the DP… lol.
I generally try to hit it before Akuma releases the fireball.
I can’t plink and I use a ps3 pad… What version of the fireball am I supposed to be using?
I find LP fireball to be the best if your hit has already been confirmed because it travels the slowest, which means it hits later and that gives you a frame or two more time to follow up.
I use MP fireball if I end in strong or forward, since that is the fireball closest to my fingers already. HP Fireball if I end with a fierce.
