Most of these are bad, but I really like Dick Tracy Q and Ryu-flavored Sean. Dr. Manhattan Urien and the American-colored Makoto are solid as well. For the rest, fuck 'em.

Because of nude Elena; at least, that’s the reason they gave. Its the same with MvC3: if Marvel wasn’t so uppity about their characters having different colors, we could probably petition a color edit mode in the game. Oh well.

Ok, so Nude Elena matters, even though they couldn’t get the colors to show up online or in replays. Yeah, ok. I can’t trust this company or anything they say anymore.

My concern is that these colors were not balanced properly for the engine and filters the game was built upon. See, if I have to fight people that look garish, then it would suck for me. The problem is the all or nothing factor, once that DLC identifier is on your console, you are stuck looking at them for good. I wish I could cherry pick the ones I like and ignore the others.

Multiple people have stated that the brighter colors look unnatural on an HDTV, I like the idea, but I don’t want to compromise everything and not be able to revert back if the results were in poor taste.

You aren’t stuck with them once you download them. You get to pick on a per character basis to use Default, use 2nd Impact (If you beat arcade with the character), or use Color Pack 1 colors. It’d be nice if you could just switch a single color in a set, though.

After smurf Urien, no idea why there is so much bitching about the colors. If you are only stuck to one palette of colors at a time, there is no point in having that many colors. Should’ve added the menu Blazblue and KoFXIII have to pick colors.

I like almost black ryu. And the Sean + ryu colors arent bad. makotos jab +feirce+forward and strong isnt too bad. Of course theres dudleys forward or “salmon” dudley that one is LOL

I first viewed this post on my phone and it wouldn’t display the image. After looking at it, it’s really not all that bad. Chun-li seems to have gotten the best (fierce) and worst (everything else) colors in the pack. All of Makoto’s look good.

I’m disappointed in these colors, especially since the first console colors from DC/PS2 were really good. There are a few gems here and there, but overall just liking a couple of those isn’t worth spending money on…even if it’s $3.

I think some of you guys miss the point I was making. I know fhat* I* could pick colors I want to fight in and ignore the others, that isn’t the point. The point is I have no control in what the opponent wears, if it looks terrible, be sure you will see them over and over.
