gross…I think I like the Ryu flavored Sean. that is all. The rest look like someone poured water on the mobo of the 3S cab. The colors on my iphone did the same thing when I dropped it in a puddle.
My brother bought it for his PS3 (that I play on of course). I actually really like Remy’s jab and fierce colors and definitely do like Ibuki’s 3 button light blue/grey color and her HK color (psylocke) Alex’s MK and 3 button colors aren’t bad IMO. The main problem with the colors is that especially on an HDTV with the filters on some of the colors look like the characters clothes/bodies were dipped in different colors of neon than natural colors. Quite of few of them (especially the bright colored ones) are extremely saturated and simplistic. There’s definitely some good ones in the rough though IMO.

Fierce Chun-Li looks okay, and in my opinion it’s the best costume in the pack.
Why they couldn’t just add in a custom colour editor(A la CVS2) and let you purchase extra slots to override I will never know.
Because of nude Elena; at least, that’s the reason they gave. Its the same with MvC3: if Marvel wasn’t so uppity about their characters having different colors, we could probably petition a color edit mode in the game. Oh well.
My concern is that these colors were not balanced properly for the engine and filters the game was built upon. See, if I have to fight people that look garish, then it would suck for me. The problem is the all or nothing factor, once that DLC identifier is on your console, you are stuck looking at them for good. I wish I could cherry pick the ones I like and ignore the others.
Multiple people have stated that the brighter colors look unnatural on an HDTV, I like the idea, but I don’t want to compromise everything and not be able to revert back if the results were in poor taste.
I like the Pittsburgh colors (hk Akuma, hp Alex, lpmkhp Yun, jab ken) so I might buy it just for that. They’re not all bad but some of them are just dumb.
