For a month, I tried to streaming on ustream.tv but it’s no use because of too much of it’s lag.
And… one of viewer “punkermania” send me a mail, to stop streaming in ustream(sure, for it’s lag).
So I strarted to streaming in http://sf2ce.co.kr/index.php.
Once, I set up button sounds all of cabs both 1p and 2p (total 8 cabs), but I don’t know why but all of 2p sounds don’t work. (It was my plan that you can hear 1p’s button sounds from your left speaker and 2p’s from right side of speaker.) I need to repair them.
Hi.
I’m traveling Beijing with my cousin from Mar 26 to 28.
I’m not sure about the streaming because I can’t sure about remote control in far distance. But I’ll try to do it.
And…I bought a sf2ce board (but not sure yet it is original or not and not yet received), I’ll set up it one of arcade in Beijing. Because a sf2ce friend of Beijing (his name is Yunfeng) really really want to play sf2ce on arcade in Beijing and we Korean players had seen that he has a tremedous enthusiasm for the sf2ce. There’re no original sf2ce board in Beijing, I bet, and there’s(re) only one or two arcade(s).
I just found out that CE is still one of the most played games at an arcade I used to frequent 15 years ago. I’m gonna go around there this week and try my luck. I’m hoping they have an HF cab as well though.
Very different. Street Fighter II CE and Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting are the same game + same fighting engine, just different versions. ST and SF4 are not the same game at all.
I, too, am puzzled why the scene for Champion Edition is bigger than Hyper Fighting. CE is like Street Fighter II beta where all the cheap crap does NOT make it a more fun/deep game. I mean, is it due to availability issues or a super low budget that CE is more popular than HF in China/Korea?
Yeah we get that. None of that, really answers the question of why, exactly anyone would play CE over just about other version of SFII. There’s simply just no reason to; objectively it provides nothing over any other version of SFII. Not trying to hate, just wondering why anyone would base a scene around a clearly inferior version of a game that has updates.
And yeah, Guile/Bison popularity is a matter of them being nigh unbeatable. I don’t see how that really justifies anything in the game’s favor.
I thought I remember the counterpick for Guile being Ryu and Sim. But yeah, that’s another thing I don’t like: counterpicking. But that’s something in the SFII series as a whole and not just CE.
