We will have pics, for sure.

Yeah, Paper, but it’s actually “cu”, only! That is Spanish! (This is extremely helpful information that will add to everyone’s overall knowledge)

^Catherine 1v1, I’ll be there to watch it lol

HDR will be featured at Devastation 2011 this October, here in sunny Phoenix, Arizona!

Devastation dates: Friday Oct. 7th - Sunday Oct 9th.

http://www.devastationevent.com/devastation-2011/

Though the event runs from Friday, October 7th to Sunday, the HDR tournament won’t be held until Saturday at 7PM. So that’s nice for ppl who can’t take a 3-4 day weekend - you can drive out Saturday morning!

… pretty sure it’ll be on PS3 tho. I’m still gonna enter cause hey, HDR tournament less than 20 miles from me.

Hope to see some of you all there, too!

EDIT - Oh wow, that’s like… the week after next!

I recommend ppl print the ticket out rather than choose to have it mailed at this point, lol.

Me and EA Megaman are going. I know Cesar and his crew are going too. Devastation is always fun. See ya there!

We try hard to rep ST with Season’s Beatings, and our high-stakes event last year was a definite success.

We’re building on that this year at Season’s Beatings: Velocity.

2 H2H Japanese setups, Oct. 14-16
Friday = casuals+group event
$50 entry, Top 5 payout (at least) (Saturday). feat. Japanese, Damdai, Jason Cole, DGV, UltraDavid, James Chen, and more – WILL BE STREAMED on the main channel, Sat morn. 1st place guaranteed $1,000.
$10/person Team Tournament (Sunday)

Hope to see many of you there. We love SF2 and will continue to support it till the end of time, since the community still reps it hard!

Is this thread still being updated?

I put up a SF2 (ST and HDR) tournament calendar up on my site a little while back.

http://www.kuroppi.com/calendar/

I have been doing a crap job of updating the 1st post, but yeah people do post up new tournaments when they’re announced. By all means, feel free to post new ones (ST, HDR, HF, etc.) when you hear about them

I just noticed that this hasn’t been posted here yet: WE’RE ONE WEEK AWAY!

We are happy to announce that Mike Watson’s SUPER ARCADE will be sponsoring the ST tournament at SoCal Regionals: THE SUPER ARCADE CUP!

With all the support Watson has been giving the ST community here in SoCal with Wednesday Night Fights and more, this was a great way to bring Super Arcade and the SCR ST tournament together.

Congratz to Afro for taking first, and showing us what a beast Balrog can be. We had a lot of killers in this tournament, but I was happy to see some newer players give ST a shot, as well as some of the SF4 players. Shout-outs to syncho, who showed up with some very solid shoto play, and fought a lot of good players to take 2nd. I hope you guys enjoyed playing on the set-up, and I hope that we can have another tournament in the future.

Big thanks to Alex for hooking it up with $4 freeplay + tournament for the whole night.

No H in synco, also thanks for running the event!

whoops, sorry about that. No problem, hopefully we can get some more ST action in later on.

Videos of the matches are already up on my youtube, but I haven’t spliced in the “Salty Cam” footage yet.
