I’m guessing v1.06 exe is coded to call battle_config instead of battle_config_v5 in const.lua, so if you copy pasted the data inside the battle_config_v5 brackets to battle_config it just might work.
You’d also want to check the vitality like Rolento. Not using notepad of course.
It’s probably still in Microsoft certification limbo, like 1.06 was. The last patch was available on the XBox.com server for about a month before we got an official release.
i compared the files of the two v2013 patches with WinMerge… and only the binaries (SFTK.exe, SFTK.exe.cfg, SFTK.exe.cat) differ
the game data is the same (character/gameplay scripts)
The patch seems to be out, my steam copy just downloaded a tiny 6mb update, i checked the in-game version and it says v1.08 2013. Why was the leaked one so much bigger?
Only 6mb? Is your client’s version still 1.06 prior to the update download?
Also, can somebody please upload the newer SFTK.exe, SFTK.exe.cfg, and SFTK.exe.cat files as it seems to be downloading the other 800mb patch despite my client being 1.08 already.
I never installed the leaked 1.08 if that’s what you mean. It just updated from 1.06 to 1.08…maybe its some sort of pre-patch update, when they said 22nd of April i’m guessing that’s US time so maybe the rest will be released in a few hours/tomorrow?
Either way its excellent, i was expecting to wait another 6 months for the update.
Is there any specific things i could test to see if all the changes have been implemented?
Lolol don’t tell me that they had the patch already in the game files but needed 6 mb to unlock it =,= SFxT feels so much faster now! And more fatal =s
Yeah all the changes seem to be there, pandora time extended and max cross gauge, throws remove recoverable health, i checked Vega and Juri and their changes all seem to be there.
