SF X Tekken - Do you think Claw is there?

I thought it was total health vs total health in the event of a time out

So maybe he took too much damage at the end of the rounds, then.

And so did Bronson that day it seems : playing footsies with cMK at almost fullscreen, and then doing nothing but jumping in when at close range. Awesome. X_X

I guess none of the players can be familiar enough with their characters in such a little amount of time. We’ll probably see much better within some monthes. =)

Derp, yeah total health is what i meant, dunno why i typed average…

The game doesnt look so appealing to me, in fact, vega will probably be the only reason ill play it and continue to play it. But i think i will prefer SF4 over this.

check the first combo

O_O

Darn, he almost ate 2/3 of her life !

A first i did not intend to play this game. Now, after seeing some Mike Rossing and Vega vids I’m wondering…

Hey but if we can combo into CH from an ST, then that could be an infinite ?

ok that combo is pretty sick, much better then the desk loop i saw.

Juggle properties are high but not infinite. Eventually it will miss

omg that combo brings a tear to my eye.

Hey guys did you watch this already?..

FstHP crumbles on counterhit…is this a standar for heavy normals now or is it a vega thing…?
Also the damage of bloody high claw is kinda dispointing specialy taking into acount scaling…people haven’ t figured out how to punish hard with vega when tagging in…also cHP is as useless an antiair as ever…

i think that’s just a straight up counterhit property. everything that doesnt knock down will crumple on counterhit now.

i’m also getting more and more interested at picking Vega and Raven team.

Far St.Hp is clearly dangerously unsafe on block but yet he chose to keep spamming it out side of max range. Crumple stun is a counter hit property now, if i’m not mistaken you can charge cancel specials and any normal becomes a counter hit if you choose to use it that way. As for Cr.Hp being useless idk he reacted way to late to the jump to say he should’ve just blocked. The claw’s hit box looks somewhat fixed in this game so it could possibly be a tad bit better I doubt it sucks as bad as a AA as in SF4 though.

Vega’s alternate DLC costume in SFxT looks like something straight out of Skyrim.

That looks fucking bad ass man. BAD. ASS.

Balrog looks… gay.

Rog looks like Sisqo from Dru Hill on steroids.

After a few days of playing SFxT, it feels like Super Street Fighter Super Smash Bros to me. A really slow version of Smash Bros though. Game isn’t bad, but not my cup of tea. I knew this when I went back yesterday and played AE again. It was fantastic, and I’ve never appreciated it more. Vega was actually reacting to my every move, and not just randomly ignoring an input, or throwing out a dangerous slide when I wanted a Cosmic Heel. Corpse-hoping is bordeline impossible against an adept opponent in SFxT, and doesn’t seem worth the effort.

Not shitting on this game, but I think I’ll stick to AE and Alpha 3, with some occansional ST. If anyone hasn’t played it or isn’t planning on buying it, you’re not missing out on anything that you’ll regret. Anyway, anybody on this forum still play AE on PSN? I haven’t played any of you besides Vegaman and I’d love to get some AE matches in now that I have a new-found appreciation for it. I know PSN sucks but I have a direct ethernet connection so if you do too it should be fine. But even if you don’t fuck it, let’s go some rounds. Whenever.

Thats sad to hear from a fellow Vega player seeing as I feel that Vega is a million times more viable in this game than all of SF4 iterations…but we all have different tastes. Just wanted more loyal Vega players to hope on board with the new matador =]

SFxT seems a bit simpler than SF for such tactics. Plus the netcode seems to suck and well we don’t know yet of subtleties like frame-data.

It was just out, so it’s rather logical, more time seems to be needed.

But still, the more I hear about it, the less I’m likely to buy SFxT. Technical issues, balance and shitty commercial DLC spirit are a lot of obstacles… And i feel good with AE 2012, so…

No, he is. I totally agree with that. It’s the game itself I have issues with. It’s way too dumbed down, but I guess that’s what people said about SFIV. It’s also too slow for my liking and (at least to me) the characters are a lot less reactive to your inputs. Sometimes it feels like they totally ignore them. I feel like they also increased charge times for moves, which would makes sense since there is Tekken characters in the game. But eh…the game is very colorful but very underwhelming imo.
