The rest I don’t know

easily the best street fighter guide by bradygames.

For you people who has purchased it already, is it as good as the OG Alpha 2 strategy guide? Better?

kamui & mopes have my children… i emailed them also, very much thanks to them and everyone who worked on this guide, i wanna buy a few of them zxz

This guide is great. As good as the SFA2 guide I got ages ago.

Only bad part about the soundtrack is that it’s missing the last four songs of the Japanese OST. Other than that, it’s allllll good.

The names of the rest are:

21.Gill Appears!
24.Stage Select & Score Ranking
27.Continue
29.Final Results
30.Ending 1
31.Ending 2
32.Staff Roll

I just wanted to commend everyone who worked on the guide. It’s very nice, even with the incomplete OST. The full versions of the rap songs aren’t there, but that’s probably due to licensing problems. A group/artist named INFINITE handled the raps while Capcom (Hideki Okugawa) provided the backing tracks.

This is the kind of guide I can recommend to new players. There’s a ton of useful information in it, and most of it is depicted with in-game graphics to help them understand what’s going on (which is something you can’t get from downloading a text FAQ).

Great stuff.

I want this damn book.

Thanks goes to all who helped on the guide.
I plan on picking it up tomorrow now that I got feedback on it.

i’ll probably just try picking this up before i buy the game for xbox

Good luck trying to find it by then…Xbox version is coming out January at earliest.

Why the fuck can’t I log in as Battosai. Why hell did you do that, just because I corrected you Omni.

o shit, a guide that isn’t lame faq quality? i must get this!

Hmm, there isn’t much info on the 3S juggle system. I still don’t really know how it works. The SF2 section did this pretty well.

yes i was troubled bout that… i’ve seen crazy juggles (urien for example) and don’t know how you can do like 6 hit solo and like 12 hits with the all powerful mirror of hell lol! also i went directly to makoto strategy and didn’t see any info on the post hayate mix-up and wake up mix-ups i’ve heard so much about ( i’ve olny played like 12 matches of 3rd strike in my life so i don’t know much bout the game just what i’ve randomly read when i’m bored or hear ppl talk about) but nonetheless the guide is way too exelent compared to other guides from bradygames like CvS2? they said a-groove sucked and ppl played it olny for the style value…
great job you guys general info and frame data is sweet

it’s just the regular OST isn’t it?

ordered my guide on amazon.com . Released on the 27th. Can’t wait!

I have the guide, and I was wondering in Yun’s section, what is hop kick???(P.200, under “COMBOS YOU NEED TO KNOW”)Is it the Senpuu Kyuku ( :r: + :mk: ) or close :mk: ??? Also, there is a typo in Ibuki’s Special Normal’s ( :l: + :mp: a.k.a You Men) unless they mean the upper hand when close to the character, which can be worked when you do back and MP. But the picture shows it differently. I think they mean the one with the :r: + :hp: and you then hit heavy punch for an additional hit (backhand fist) Also, what is the HP after a HP connects for Ibuki’s Special Normal??? Unless they mean to what I just described about the :r: + :hp: ??? Anyhow, I just want to know really what is a hop kick for Yun, because I want to master the Genei-Jin combos. Please correct me if I’m wrong in any area.

Thank you…

Thank you all for those who have contributed how GREAT the guide was…you’ve have inspired me to get the guide! Here i was thinking “How freickin’ lame…this guys are talkin bout a strategey guide for a danm FIGHTING GAME! Who would do that!?” But then I read on…and I realize that this guide is actually pretty sweet so thank you for making this thread!
