With the “announcement” of MvC2 for XBox Live and PSN, there was also the “announcement” of Alpha 2 and 3.
Do you all think these games will have online play, and which will they all be popular?
I’m not the biggest fan of Alpha 3, but I sure hope these all have online play and that the community for both consoles grows strong.

Capcom is probably going to use the GGPO netcode as much as they can so it’s more than likely that those games are going to have online play.
MvC2 will probably be the more popular game of the three.
i just hope there not the psx ports which mos likely it will be. but if they dont add online theres no reason to buy it since sfaa is out.hope capcom is not that stupid
Did SFA get released on PSN before Capcom licensed GGPO? I forgot.
Capcom is THAT stupid. SFA1 is a ps1 port with no online. 90% chance SFA2 and 3 will be the same.

Might as well go pick up Alpha Collections. I doubt there be online play. Capcom can atleast give us Arcade Perfects to download onto the 3

Like everyone else said, Capcom is crazy if MvC2, and Alpha 2/3 don’t have online.
Give you a reason you ditch your ps2s im kinda hoping to ditch my ps2 in the next year or so and just have usb sticks. they are so superior. Make Led mods to easy
read about these on the esrb ratings. do a search on a2 and 3 supposedly they should have online play. its part of capcoms gift to the fans. a2 ond 3 only on psn while both 360 and psn get mvc2 with online play

alpha 2 omg i love that game ! we do need ggpo netcode for this but im not insanely optimistic. i wont be expecting online play , but it will be one of this years best surprises if it is implemented.
These games and MvC2 are coming out soon, seems like 2009 is the year of SF.
I love A2 and even A3- even though V-ism is broke as a joke! 
Gen, Charlie, Akuma (A, V), Ryu (A, V), Sodom (V) and Ken (A2 only) will be my mains.

This thread might be jumping the gun, what if A2 and A3 are just arcade ports with no online, just like A1 from the PS Store?
I hope not, A3 is one of my favorite SFs- when I’m not having someone like Kyokuji fornicating my bung pore inside out with his V-Cody or fighting ChibiPotPie’s bitch cunt whore Chun Li.
I really doubt that A2 or A3 will have online mode, Capcom and Sony are both lazy, and the original games didn’t come with any online version; they’ll probrably just port it.
MvC2 is one of the most popular games ever from Capcom, which is why they’ll spend alittle more time on it to make sure it can go online.
