I guess ya’ll have a point with the whole elephant killing punch and all. I’ll bet it was definately a cheap shot though!!!
Balrog is strong, but Vega would serve that fool. Ryu will obviously win the fight, those punches Balrog hit him with are enough to kill an elephant maybe, but another street fighter(especially someone like Ryu)can take them much better.Balrog is probably on the same level as Zangief or Blanka or maybe a little stronger,Ryu will more than likely win with a SHINSHORYUKEN!
Ryu doesn’t have the Shin Shoryuken yet and I dobut he was as powerful as his SF3 self during this time.
correction: Ryu does have the Shin Shoryuken During Alpha 3 but it isn’t as powerful as his SF3 one.
balrog is da man his give ryu a good fight
I thought that was the metsu shoryuken
Personally Ryu would cripple Balrog. An interesting fight would be Blarog and Sagat. I think Sagat would take him out with one blow. If the comic book continues in the SF3 realm I would love to see a match-up between Dudley and Balrog.
Okay, man, come on.Of course Ryu is not as powerful at this time but he can go head to head with Sagat,we know that, and Sagat would beat the living hell out of Balrog. Balrog is strong,he is still a shadowloo boss, but how much you want to bet that in issue 14,ryu lays the boxer out?
And yeah,a fight between Dudley and balrog would be great, and Dudley would send that ‘gutter trash’ right into the gutter.
That depends on the distance, in Alpha 3 if you’re at a very precised distance you’ll do a Shim Shoryuken.
Oh yeah! Sakuras blasted that goon! Go Sakura! Ryu has taught her well!
HADOUKEN!!
Ooh boy…blocking a hadouken in point blank with his fists…the battle between Ryu and Balrog has already gotten my adrenalin pumpin’! ^^ I can’t wait to see the results!
I’m a huge Ryu fanboy, so my point wasn’t that Ryu couldn’t beat Balrog, it was simply that Balrog was not a weakling. It was all about his strength, not his skill. Personally, I don’t believe Vega is anywhere near as strong as Balrog, just more skilled.
Yeah me too. Geeze now I"m like going through street Fighter withdraw.
Agreed. That’s why he’s the weakest Shadowloo boss. It’s based on an all around effectiveness of the fighter. Balrog is probaly about as strong as Sagat, maybe a tad bit stronger, but he relies on his power when fighting which to some opponents can take them out easily but a skillful fighter won’t be that easy to beat. Out of all the G.M.'s I think Sagat is the tops because if Bison didn’t have Psycho Power I don’t really think he would be that good of a fighter.
I understand that, and it makes sense. So akuma and Oro must be WAY up there in power, sense they have both stength and skill.I guess why they are on top,Gill must have incredible power to be on top as well, because he seems to be one who sits on a throne all day or something kinda like Frieza from dragonballz and does not train at all.
Yeah but udon is not canon
Since the story is more the spirit of street fighter I think we should just give the story slack and take everything with a grain of salt.
It’s more interesting this way & allows us to cheer for Ryu ! :karate:
mass times acceleration
I seen Sagat break tree size wooden dummies in half in the
special gamepro story.
True. GO RYU!!! :karate:
Ryu does that in the alpha anime, remember the part when he and chun visit Gotenku island?..
i saw that i was dissipointed that they didn’t fight
Hell yeah! Where’s my money?!
Damn, this is very bizarre, I mean Ryu with an elegant suit, with SHOES!!! and throwing a hadoken while at it.
