Wow, I have to admit that this issue is looking pretty good. I have to admit that I was a little worried about the series because I felt that the second storyline has been kind of weak, but this has restored my faith a bit. I’m looking forward to getting this one.

Me too I can’t wait to see how the fight against Balrog goes. But I’m kinda surprised at how far off the plot has strayed from the original arc. Still I guess Akuma will return for another showdown one day.

Yeah! I won $50!!! … i like how the art looks in this … seems some how different and better. I like how they are powering up Balrog but it looks like Ryu got a sever power down. Yeah it’s true what they said that Balrog should be able to take a punch … but we’re talking about taking them from Boxers not Street Fighters … boxers wear gloves … Ryu doesn’t … and since when does a Hadouken not do any damage at all to an opponent? I love the look on Sakura’s face after she fires one off.
All in all … you got me excited. Good job Udon.

Ryu getting owned by that scrub Balrog??? What the hell is going on? This surely can’t be right. I’d expect Sagat to go toe-to-toe with Ryu, but not Balrog. Isn’t he the weakest of the original 4 baddies?
Er… It didn’t show the full fight, they had to make it seem atleast a bit dramatic since it’s the last issue.

Ryu isn’t exactly gettin owned by Balrog… he just took a full hit of a hadouken which officially feel like a strong kick and though weakest of the four lords of Shadowloo, he still is a powerful fighter and should be able to withstand the damage of a kick… Now if it was a shinkuu hadouken or a shoryuken then I would be complaining… Hey here’s an idea, what if the fight ends with one huge super combo finish… Starbrust effect woo hoo…
Interesting Udon had Ryu go for a J.Fierce - C.Fierce - Hadouken combo on Balrog.

Balrog is NOT weak. A weakling could not kill an elephant with one punch. I highly doubt Vega could do that. Anyway, I’m ecstatic to see Alvin return, but I must address my first complaint about the comic’s art. I hate the way they’ve been drawing Balrog’s hair. It just doesn’t look like him.
