Against the Claw player it was quite clear he was just waiting to Ultra at the end. You probably could have baited this by doing a wall jump and dive kick as early as possible. The delay would have likely made his Ultra miss.
Little tip on that bastard Dhalsim though: if he teleports hit a button. He cannot recover fast enough so you’ll always win. I think it’s even possible to do jab > dash under > whatever.
Yeah, you can do that and you can also do auto correct DP > stomps > divekick. Don’t jump in on dhalsim unless it’s on wake up or to punish a fireball. You got hit by his j.sp 3 times in a row.
Also sim is a zoning character, you should get in his face more, he can’t do anything up close, and when he’s getting near the corner don’t jump over him so much, if you stay on the right side of him he can only get closer to the corner, or teleport right next to you where he’s at frame disadvantage. That sim was throwing out arms on every jump also - you should of srk’ed him. srk fadc’s on wakeup are good for keeping the pressure on also. And stop jumping in and being punished over and over - if it happens twice in a row (or even once), the next time isn’t going to be any different! Also when jumping towards sim (not off walljump) mp or d.mk work great for catching limbs sim may throw out at you. And at fullscreen you don’t need to be the one attacking, the sim player needs to be on the offensive as much as you do (assuming they don’t have a life lead), so you can let them try and get in and punish them, doesn’t need to always be the other way around.
I dunno, how do you guys feel that matchup is? It’s def at least 5-5 if now 6-4 in Seth’s favor, I never seem to have too much of a problem with him honestly.
If you’re concentrated on rushing him, you’re not taking home any cake.
Dhalsim players usually have really good reactions, so you have to stay fullscreen and let him come to you. At that range, it’s 5-5. Once he gets close to you, it’s a 7-3 in your favor >:D
