That guy is such a dipshit. Last time I played him he was too busy taunting and lost a round he should have won. Diden’t have time to taunt in round 3 though. Too busy getting destroyed. Gotta at least give him credit for using the SPD well.
That is actually me lol. I forgot I had a vid up. I normally intended to link it but I cant even hit my links in tourney yet. The first vid is very nice though.
Your Seth play is very much like mine, many jump(away) HP’s. If that’s a mediocre Seth then i’m one too =)
One tip btw, at 3:05 in the vid you do EX shoryuken that leaves Ryu with really low HP, at that time i’d go for the forward jump headstomp, because he’s likely going to try to SRK on wakeup when he sees you jumping, headstomp would trade for the KO, and you would have won the round.
I think you still did great. You did alot of smart things and even though you are being critical that just shows you have high standards. A few missed links aside you have good execution.
When you have them in the corner perform the headstomp combo. It’s REALLY good against cornered opponents, especially charge characters. It’s the safest move to do against wake-up reversals like the one Flash Kick that hit you when Guile recovered from knock-down. What I usually do is do 2 headstomps then land with either a j.lk or j.hk. to cross them up. That’s just alittle something you can add to your Seth game.
You must select the best option for a specific situation. If your opponent is already cornered it will be difficult and risky to go fishing for a Hyaku combo, if you see an oppertunity to combo into it or hit confirm then thats cool. But going straight for a headstomp combo on a cornered opponent is a safer bet in my opinion because the stomps do tend to beat anti airs and if they block any stomps and don’t get knocked down you can do a fierce kick in the air on the way down this is an easy cross up. If that lands you have the oppertunity to do crouching fierce punch into LP Shoryu, headstomps and dive kick. Its definately worth putting into your bag of tricks! Seth can play havoc on his opponents once he corners them and the more options you show you have the more intimidating he becomes.
