Seriously did the japanese make TvC non-marvel style because of doujin-style games?

Again, I know its made for japan and there demographic. Hence why i say the Vs series is being changed so they’ll like it more. Again my concern is that it doesn’t spill over into the next VS game. That is all…

Ok how about since they dont play Vs games like talking about Capcom caters toward them?

It’s not like they would support it like a bunch of rabid monkeys like we tend to do with there games anyway. OHHHHHH!

i dont know why i have the feeling that your complaints come from your inhability to play with this mechanics, seriously, im pretty sure that you never played other game besides mvc2, deal with the changes

You mind telling me how you figure this considering the games been out 4 fucking days.

For Wii sure, dec 11 was the release date.

Actually I suck at MVC2, love the game to death but im much better at. insert any random game here

And you act like America can’t learn the game and get good? So what if it’s “aimed at the Japanese”? Just play the fucking game and get good at it and body them in it. The game has been out on console just as long as arcade.

This sentence made no sense.

That’s because American fighting games are stiff for the most part.

Umm wtf? that had nothing to do with what i asked you.

@ lol japan sux in mahvel camp: Have you ppl even seen the good jp marvel heads?

What makes you think japan’s fgc couldn’t get as good at the game if they wanted? Seriously?

Y’all are fuckin retarded.

  • Everything SK said.

Last post and im done with this.

Im lost as to why people assume its about beating or getting really good at the game. I not concerned as to who’s better japan or the rest of the world, what I am concerned about is the Dynamic and style of the VS series becoming more like TVC.

Sure it did, he stated that I shouldn’t think that since we play the VS games so much that they are expected it to cater toward us. And I said as oppose to cratering to a scene that doesn’t really care for the series as a whole

Agreed

Hmm, sounds interesting. When will this game be released?

Uh, because that’s we do when it comes to new games? New games coming out and people are too busy nitpicking about them. Then you wonder why we were playing the same stiff as shit for the past 8 years.

TvC is fine the way it is and is actually good. If you don’t like it, then don’t play it.

It was pretty hard to read since you were just piecing random words together in that sentence, but I think this one makes more sense.

Considering it has elements from GG and AH in it, I think Japan might end up caring for it. After all, it’s going to be an SBO game(obviously), so they’ll play it. That’s more than enough incentive to get them to play. After SBO, who knows if the game will live or die.

At least you said opinion. You’re still wrong tho.

Something in this quote makes you look really stupid. Let’s see if we can find it.

Also, while Marvel players have come to accept it, THE REST OF THE WORLD would prefer to be infinite-free. It has shown because more and more games are being tested and have added engine features(not just bursting, but increased pushback and hitstun scaling) to AVOID such things.

What is the “Japan style of play”?

Have you been to Japan?

There’s almost zero scene for MvC2, hell, they’d rather play XvSF. You do understand the reason for that right?

Once again throwing that word around. Do you understand what that means? I think you need to actually read the posts in the thread.

Jesus Christ at least try to spell correctly. lol

Air Dash isn’t the reason why people have been all over the game. They’re all over it because it looks like a good game. Stop being bitter because it doesn’t have fastfly combos.

Because that’s not what most players do in MvC2, right?

We’ve gone in a huge circle over this topic, and there are some seriously blind people out there. Just play the game for its merits, there’s many reasons why they didn’t fashion this game after MvC2, but to say it was because Japan couldn’t beat the US in it is arrogant, and close-minded.
